I visited for the World Masters Athletics and as an athlete competing I found I had everything I required. My events were easily accessible by tram just outside the door with plenty of places to eat right on the doorstep.

Mauvaise organisation au petit déjeuner. Énorme salle où on se bouscule et il faut aller d’un coin à l’autre pour une tasse de café, pas assez de place pour bouger, aucun plateau pour faciliter les déplacements. Difficile de s’orienter. Stressant et pas ce qu’on souhaite pour commencer sa journée. Ça baisse considérablement mon appréciation générale de l’hôtel. Dommage.

Frukosten var överväldigande o en härlig personal. Bra ljuddämpning. Snyggt med alla foton på väggarna. Sköna möbler. Så trivsamt.
Den enda fadäsen var att vi saknade extra rulle med toapapper men det gick bra då ni har många toaletter på entreplan.
En hissdörr knuffade till min väninna då vi skulle åka upp till vårt rum. Hon ramlade dock inte.

Eines der besten City Hotels, in dem ich je war. Sehr bequeme Boxspring-Betten. Ein so unfassbar vielfältiges Frühstück, dass keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Sehr professioneller und stets freundlicher Service, man fühl sich sofort willkommen. Sehr cooles Film- und Theaterdesign, dass sich überall von den Zimmern, über den Frühstücksraum bis in die fantastische Lobby wiederfindet. Ein gläserner Aufzug bringt einen in den 33 Stock. Es gibt dort eine coole Rooftop Bar und natürlich die berühmte Brasserie / Restaurant mit dem namensgebenden leuchtenden Drachen. Vom Interiordesign her der Wahnsinn und kaum vergleichbar! Zudem ist das Hotel durch die Haltestelle direkt vorm Hoteleingang mit allen Bahnlinien perfekt angebunden und man kommt in kürzester Zeit in jede Richtung der Stadt. Wenn man eines der höher liegenden Zimmer hat, bekommt man zudem einen unvergesslichen Ausblick auf den Hafen. Sicherlich eines der etwas teurere Hotels in Göteborg aber es hebt sich so weit von allen weitern Unterkünften ab, dass es absolut gerechtfertigt ist.
Der Außenbereich der Rooftop Bar ist nicht so herausragend und lohnt sich aus meiner Sicht nicht, denn die Sicht bzw. der Ausblick ist durch seitliche Wände sehr eingeschränkt. Innen ist die Bar wirklich sehr cool, vor allem mit dem schwebenden Drachen, aber wenn man unter freiem Himmel sein möchte und wegen der schönen Aussicht dort hin möchte, dann gibt es bessere Rooftop Bars in der Stadt.
Ein Punkt, der zumindest bei unserem Zimmer tatsächlich ein wenig gestört hat, war, dass die gläserner Duschtrennwand nicht bis auf den Boden hinuntergeführt ist und beim Duschen das Wasser unter der Glaswand durch ins restliche Badezimmer läuft. Das Badezimmer ist so schnell mal unter Wasser gesetzt.

Rengøringen - lever absolut ikke op til et 4-stjernet hotel. Jeg fandt (forhåbentlig enkeltstående ex.) brugt plaster på pyntepude i det øjeblik jeg låste mig ind, flader på natborde havde pletter efter drikkelse, flade på minibar havde et tykt lag støv, dræn i bad var tilstoppet. I gang-arealer var der ved hver lejlighed jeg gik igennem, støv i vindueskarme og krummer mm på gulv.

Vårat rum hade enorma bullerproblem under hela natten och vi visste inte riktigt vad som störde oss. Tills vi insåg att det var buller från hisschakt!! Sov väldigt dåligt.

Underbart hotell med filmtema. Fina rum och sköna sängar. Fantastisk frukost med extra allt. Trevlig personal. Bra läge. Suveränt ställe att bo på om man ska gå på Draken live som i sig också är fantastiskt.
En liten detalj, locken till det varma vid frukosten är väldigt tunga och otympliga. Saknar även vanliga pannkakor.

My stay at the Clarion Draken in Gothenburg over New Year’s Eve was nothing short of fantastic. As someone with mite allergies, I often face challenges with hotel beds, but at Clarion Draken, I was pleasantly surprised. The bed was not only soft and inviting, but also allergen-free, ensuring a comfortable and sneeze-free night’s sleep.
The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the view from the hotel. Positioned perfectly to overlook the city, we enjoyed a spectacular view of the Gothenburg fireworks. It felt like we had front-row seats to the city’s celebrations, all from the comfort of the hotel.
Adding to the experience was our time spent at the rooftop bar. The ambiance was perfect for ringing in the New Year, with a selection of drinks that catered to all tastes. It was a great place to relax and soak in the festive atmosphere.
The next morning, we were greeted with an extensive breakfast buffet. The variety and quality of food available were impressive, catering to a wide range of dietary preferences and tastes. It was the perfect way to start the new year.
Lastly, the ease of checking in and out added to the seamless experience. The staff were friendly and efficient, making sure our stay was hassle-free from start to finish.
In conclusion, my stay at Clarion Draken was a delightful experience, combining comfort, luxury, and festive cheer. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a special New Year’s Eve in Gothenburg.

Top Lage, schönes Design Hotel, grosses Frühstücksbuffet mit allem was man sich wünschen kann in schöner Athmosphäre. Hygge eben. Wir waren wirklich Happy in dem Hotel angefangen vom Personal über das Design, die extrem bequemen Betten, die kleinen Details und die unglaubliche Aussicht durch die vielen, grossen Fenster unseres Zimmers (32. Stock) über die ganze Stadt. Wirklich toll, wir kommen wieder
Wenn es einen kleinen Mangel gibt, dann das die Zimmer nicht wirklich riesig sind. Zwei Leute mit Koffern kommen an die Grenze. Aber das Zimmer ist sehr gemütlich, schön und stylisch mit Hammeraussicht und fabelhaftem Bett das ich am liebsten mitgenommen hätte.

Maten på top floor bistron va dyr och vi beställde i pasta den lämna jag tillbaka pastan hård och torr. Fick då istället en ryggbiff skulle vara medium men va rå tråkigt när man betalar så mycket pengar jag är värkligen inte den som brukar klaga.

Es war ein wunderschönes Zimmer mit großartigem Ausblick, absolut bequemem Bett und sehr schönem Bad mit tollen Pflegeprodukten. Auch das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls super, zentral und direkt an einer Tram-/Busstation gelegen, sodass die Stadt gut erkundet werden kann. Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und wir konnten auch unser Gepäck nich dort lagern bis zur Abreise.
Beim Frühstück am Wochenende war es trotz Timeslot extrem voll und unangenehm drängelig am Buffet. Unter der Woche gab es dafür leider nur bis 9.30 Uhr Frühstück, was für uns im Urlaub leider etwas früh war.

Frukosten var det bästa med vistelsen. Den var kanon. Uppskattade också lobbyn och de allmänna ytorna.
Hade för mig att hörnrummet skulle ha utsikt åt två väderstreck. Är ganska säker på att jag läste om detta då jag bokade men vi hade bara fönster mot Järntorget/ Linnéstaden. Detta blev vi lite besvikna på för hade berättat för familjen om detta. Restaurangen på hotellet var inte öppen så vi bokade bord på stan istället.
