Accessible only by snowmobile in the wintertime, this cabin will feel more like your very own, secret ski chalet. When you're not cozied up beside the wood-burning fireplace, spend days on nearby cross-country trails or shredding the slopes at the resort 5 miles away. Alpine Lakes, Hiking Trails, and Mountain Biking make this a great year-round getaway! -- THE PROPERTY -- Alpine County STR License 2023-278 Bedroom 1: King Bed | Bedroom 2: 2 Twin Beds, 2 Queen Beds Towering pine trees surround Bear Valley Village, home to your 1,300-square-foot cabin. If you’re visiting in the wintertime, strap on the snowshoes and skis, or opt for the available snowmobile service to access this secluded, snowy abode! Warm up after a day on the slopes by tossing a log into the wood-burning fireplace! The chef in your crew will have no problem whipping up an après-ski snack in the fully equipped kitchen, which you can enjoy with a movie on the flat-screen TV in the open-concept living space. Summertime guests can fire up the charcoal grill for some late-night burgers and beers beneath a blanket of stars! Don't forget to throw a load into the in-unit laundry machines so you can grab your ski gear and hit the mountain first thing in the morning! -- THE LOCATION -- This secluded mountain retreat resides just a short Quarter-mile walk from the heart of Bear Valley Village, where you'll find a general store, lodge, snowmobile rentals, and world-class trails for cross-country skiing! Cruise along snowmobile trails leading right up to your door, or head over to Skyline Bear Valley Mountain Resort for some adrenaline-pumping downhill skiing only 5 miles away. Summertime visitors will enjoy easy access to an abundance of Alpine County's outdoor activities including hiking, swimming, mountain biking, bouldering, and more! Locals recommend half-day hikes such as Bloods Ridge and Inspiration Point, which are only a few minutes' drive away! Make the 4-mile trek to Lake Alpine for a leisurely day of kayaking or boating on a rented watercraft. -- REST EASY WITH US -- Evolve makes it easy to find and book properties you'll never want to leave.
