Everything about the place was great -
Being very picky, the location is a little of the beaten track but, it is only 10 miles from York. When we do book again, we will go on Wednesdays onwards as all the local pubs etc are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays

The whole stay was perfect start to finish! On arriving, we had the key and the fob for the gates left for us. We arrived approx 7:30pm and we were hungry - there were takeaway menus in the room which was so nice! The bed was comfy and the extra touches were fab - the hairdryer, croissants, butter, milk and orange juice in the fridge. There’s a bookcase with jigsaws and games and books! Our dog Bailey absolutely loved running around the garden, sometimes accompanied by Bruno! Your place is a hidden gem and we will definitely be back again! Thank you so much Clare and Shaughn x

This little gem of a place was spotlessly clean when we arrived and felt very welcoming, bed was really comfy as was the sofa. Beautiful garden to look out on and everything we needed was provided including some lovely breakfast bits and tea/coffee etc. Meeting the gorgeous Bruno was definitely an added bonus!
That we were only there for 1 night! We could easily have stayed a lot longer

What an amazing property. Everything was so clean and tidy, the location is stunning. The hosts were friendly. The room had lots of little extras that made us feel so welcome. Bed was super comfy.
I have always stayed in York to visit my daughter but not anymore - we will stay again.

Spotlessly clean room with nice, comfy sofa. Room is an annex to the owners house, the owner welcomed us but did not intrude in our privacy. Good selection of tea & coffees. Fresh milk, juice & croissants were provided. Nice.
Property was located on the edge of a lovely village, which felt safe & secure.
Large flatscreen TV was modern, good quality and great to use.
The property was advertised as having tea & coffee faculties with no additional cooking, this is exactly what we got.
I can't think of any negative comments worth mentioning. I would be very happy to stay again.
