Disappointment

New area, nice view

**Breakfast:** - The primitive breakfast, served buffet-style on makeshift tables, is unacceptable for a hotel aspiring to be luxurious. The eggs were overcooked and inedible (prepared hours earlier), and the plain toast was barely edible. We hoped for at least a decent coffee, but even that was a challenge. On the first day, they provided a basic capsule coffee machine but lacked capsules. When we asked the manager, he brought only two capsules, so other guests were constantly missing them. To get coffee from a proper restaurant machine, you had to pay extra - a scandalous and unimaginable policy for such a place! **Room:** - Housekeeping was inadequate; the terrace wasn't cleaned throughout our stay. - No tissues, and the bathroom mat was taken on the first day and never replaced. Trash bin never cleaned throughout the whole stay. - No glasses in the room; on the last day, cups were provided with one coffee capsule per person. At check-out, there was a very unpleasant situation where we were charged for a drink we didn't order. The manager insisted we had ordered it, even though they didn't ask us to sign the bill after our meal (we ordered only once on the first day and actually they forgot about serving half of it). This hotel lacks supervision, management, and standards. Despite being new, it feels desolate and discouraging. I do not recommend this place unless you want to be frustrated.

Una pessima esperienza

Piscina bella anche se su terrazza esposta al vento e con ombrelloni non utilizzabili perchè volavano via (la notte, addirittura un lettino è finito dentro dentro la piscina).

Arrivo il 9 settembre, tutto chiuso, c'è solo una signora che fa le pulizie e ci da la chiave della camera. Reception chiusa (e lo rimarrà sempre, nonostante nella descrizione fosse evidenziato che era aperta h24), ci viene scritto su un fogliettino di carta, dalla signora, un numero di telefono di riferimento. Niente check-in. Nella descrizione dell'hotel era segnalata la presenza di un bar, di un centro benessere (a pagamento, e va bene) e di una jacuzzi. Bar chiuso, Jacuzzi inesistente, centro benessere ancora in costruzione. Il deserto più assoluto in una struttura in cui erano ancora in corso i lavori - evidentemente sospesi - per essere completata. Il giorno dopo non è stata rifatta la camera, nessuno rispondeva alle nostre telefonate. La mattina dell'11 settembre, tramite l'assistenza di Booking abbiamo ottenuto la cancellazione dei restanti giorni e ci siamo trasferiti in un altro hotel. Non abbiamo mai visto un responsabile della struttura. Sentito finalmente al telefono prima di lasciare l'hotel, si è giustificato dicendo che era già bassa stagione. Nell'hotel dove siamo poi andati, era tutto funzionante e le camere piene come minimo al 80%. Bassa stagione? E per finire, camera ben al di sotto delle dimensioni dichiarate, non c'era nemmeno lo spazio per i comodini a fianco letto, addirittura da una parte non si riusciva nemmeno a salire sul letto. Il bagno, invece, abbastanza comodo anche se il lavandino si trovava all'interno della camera. Totale assenza di appendiabiti, sportello del vano in cui si trovava il frigorifero senza maniglia, niente telecomando per la tv, niente telecomando per il condizionatore. Fortunatamente a Zante si va per restare fuori tutto il giorno ad esplorare luoghi bellissimi, ma due giorni delle nostre vacanze sono stati davvero rovinati e solo grazie a Booking abbiamo potuto trovare un rimedio.
