There is no air conditioning but being in the mountains you can open the windows. The host was very responsive. Great place to visit!

Of all VRBO's I have stayed in I have never dealt with a more rude manager. All over this property it said there was AC. I have all of the copies. His response, "it's a cabin in the Colorado mountains." While getting ready for the family wedding it was 89 in the home. The basement smelled and we did not use for that reason. I noticed comments that were put about refunding another client in August. Lies as i have copies of how this property specifically said it had AC. We probably could have dealt with easier had he not been rude and told us we did not read correctly. That all VRBO's have the same item on AC's. I have stayed in 6 property's since and they are as they are described and all of the management were far kinder. I waited a year to help anyone that thought this had AC would read. However, I noticed that they finally changed it has no AC. But you can't change rude. We stayed in July of 2023

This property is beautiful with wildlife in the yard and scenic views. Quiet neighborhood. The common spaces were great for family meals and hanging out. The dumpster was unfortunately overflowing when we got there and for two days we didn’t have any place to put trash. There was no bedding for the two sofa beds but we made do with some extra blankets from the other rooms. Communicating with host/management feels like you get blanket statements that can apply to a number of homes. Our house rules document was apparently not specific to our home as it listed the specifics of when the AC and heat would run in Colorado, and asked us to park in the garage but the garage was locked and had an alarm. The description of the home specifically listed Air conditioning, (which we wanted) but when we got there the home had no AC. I sent screen shots of the description with AC listed to management to ask how to turn it on and was told to see the amenities tab where AC was not listed and to open the windows. They later went and removed AC from the description without ever mentioning they had made a mistake while continuing to tell us to see amenities tab. The downstairs windows do not open and the bedroom downstairs was quite warm in July. On several days of our stay we noticed signs of mice in the home. The host said they would get pest control out asap and resolve the issue. This has the potential to be a lovely home if only managed better.

Location of property was perfect for our needs. A little noisy being right off of Hwy. 24 but otherwise, perfect location. Beautiful views of Pikes Peak and a lovely meadow for kids to romp in. Internet was strong, and one person staying was very happy about that, as he had to do two (2) finals while we were there. We were disappointed in the fact that there were no cushions for the patio furniture, which was very uncomfortable to sit on because of that. In the summer you want to sit outside and enjoy the mountain air, but makes it hard when the furniture feels like you're sitting on a rock or am old spring bed. I would suggest future guests B.Y.O.P. (bring your own pillow). The ones provided on the beds are SO uncomfortable. The washing machine was so filthy I had to wipe it out with Clorox wipes to rid it of lots of hair and mold in the rubber seal. I would suggest having your cleaning team wipe it out periodically and have them leave the washing machine door open to dry out. Though I was able to clean it pretty well, most of the rubber seal is permeated with mold and there is no way to get that out. The downstairs bedroom closet had no bar for hanging clothing up, you had to use a little closet in the game room. It wouldn't hurt to have a few extra blankets to use on the couch or for sleeping (there was 1).

This house was great for our family vacation in the CO Springs area. A short drive to anywhere we wanted to go. The house was very clean and the linens, sheets and furniture were all new and clean too. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and even had some basic spices for cooking. We loved the big windows and the view of Pikes Peak from the living room.
