Perfect for coast path walkers!

The bath! Always a bonus for walkers! Sister restaurant The Rose Garden right next door: good food & good prices.

Room a bit small for a double, luckily I was on my own!

Comfortable and clean room but sound proofing is an issue.

The rooms are clean and well maintained and decorated, very homely feel with nice high ceilings.

The noise. Unfortunately you can hear everything from the other rooms and corridors.

Great for a short stay

basic, straight forward accomodation. Very clean. Adjustable heating

not that easy to find in the dark!

Disappointing

Clean room

Only 1 towel and 1 water for 2 people. Arrived at 6.45pm so no one there , key in box (fair enough) no lights to see where to go. Room very cold but managed to put heating on . Advert said on-site restaurant and breakfast available. On arrival had to phone to book a table. Restaurant not open and no breakfast available following morning !! Very disappointing as was advertised. I would advise checking this before booking.

Issabella rooms were adequate for our needs and met our expectations. Thanks for a nice stay.

Location was OK and met our needs as it was a 15-20 min taxi ride into Rayleigh where we were dining that evening. The only downside was their breakfast facility was closed, but we were informed this would be the case before booked, besides we found an alternative location in a garden centre, 5 minutes away.

My only gripe was that the bath water in room 4 was just above luke warm. Apart from that I have no further complaints.

Nice worth a look 🧐

Lovely cozy with heating which was superb, fully controllable great given outside temps. Breakfast was great too

Nothing to dislike, a safe path to Hullbrisge would be nice but that isn't in Isabella's control, Essex Highways department 😀

Very convenient for my trip and good value. Staff helpful.

Ideally located for a bird watching trip to RSPB Wallasea Island

Fridge in wardrobe woke me up in the night a couple of times as it switched itself on and off via the thermostat. I should have got up and unplugged it!

Excellent value and lovely hosts

Clean comfortable with everything I needed. Soap, tea making everything supplied. Next to a lovely restaurant. Very friendly hosts nothing too much trouble. A rare find!

Overall pretty good!

Lots of parking. Nice decor. Comfy bed.

Radiators weren't on when we arrived (it was -2 outside) but it warmed up quickly once we turned them on. Bit of an odd area and was difficult getting a taxi to come and pick us up.

Enjoyable and comfortable

Beds where super comfortable and the decor of the room was beautiful!!

Unfortunately we had to check in pretty late and there was no heating on in the room so it was like walking into an iceburg. The lady in the restaurant downstairs was super lovely and accommodating and helped us with a mini heater. We turned both the radiator’s on in both rooms but still no luck with them generating any heat :( thank god for the mini heater as im sure we would have frozen to death with out it. Other than that the room was lovely location was stunning and would stay here again (just in a different room haha)

Cozy little rooms, a good place to stay. But don’t expect internet.

Very comfy bed. Room was cozy and well equipped. Owner was quick to help with anything.

The internet was almost non-existent! You could barely get anything. The walls are very thin so you hear EVERYTHING in the next room (including a couple who played music all night! So didn’t get any sleep).

Host was nice. Tv had netflix. Restaurant was pleasant.

The main issue - to charge my phone I needed to keep the fire door open to use the plug socket outside meaning that: 1. people could see into my room 2.my phone could get damaged on the floor and 3.fire doors have to be kept shut but I had to leave it open to see my phone was ok.

Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

The breakfast was exceptional. Couldn’t fault it in any way. Just the right choices and freshly made.

The bathroom showed areas where a little more detail to cleaning wouldn’t have gone amiss otherwise all good.

Very clean value for money

Very nice clean quiet room. For the price very nice comfy room, very good bed, had a nice sleep. Nice clean specious bathroom, disappointingly not attached, floor down.

Only thing the bathroom, not attached to the room further one floor down. But the bathroom was only private and very nice and clean. If the the bathroom was attached I would have given 10/10

Very Friendly staff and the Rose garden was exceptionally tidy and clean.

Breakfast was just a bit too greasy for my taste, other people would not have a problem with it. Sad we were unable to go to the curry night on our friends raved about it.

The rain, just unlucky there.

Excellent location and restaurant next door a bonus

Very clean and good facilities. Restaurant next door was fabulous.

You can hear your next door neighbours very easily so if you have late night revellers next door it may keep you awake.

Very clean and quiet , the lady that greated us on reception was lovely, very nice pleasant stay. We will be back again for another stay ,everything worked great we had the family room with a nice double bed and the single very comfy nights sleep

Great place to stay restaurant needs to open a bit more tho as it was always closed but other then that had a great stay definitely need a car if your staying here as your miles from anything lol

Very clean and comfortable room. Bed was super comfy, had a great night's sleep. Plenty of tea coffee for my stay. Shower had plenty of hot water. Would definitely recommend and stay here again when working in the area.
