About this house rental

Pretty Victorian house with an urban oasis garden. A country cottage in a town setting. Three bedrooms, sleeping max 5. Serviced let with white cotton sheets, towels and a cleaner
The space
A characterful and cosy home from home, relaxing and easy to be in, a short distance to Central London

There are two bedrooms upstairs, the master bedroom in the front of the house with a king-size bed. One single (adult sized) bunk bed in the upstairs back room, which also has a walk-in wardrobe. A spacious bedroom front downstairs with a double bed.

The main bathroom is downstairs behind the kitchen. there's a good shower in the bath. A toilet upstairs with a large vanity.

The kitchen has a very large Miele fridge, a larder, a large range cooker and a Miele dishwasher. All kitchen implements, pots and pans included. There is a round table that seats up to 5.

Our favourite place to sit in the summer is the garden - it has a seating area for six, with comfortable chairs and cushions and a shady parasol.

A small pretty sitting room at the back of the house has a two seater sofa and two armchairs. No TV. A table to work at in here or in the front bedroom.

The garden was landscaped last year with trees, fruit bushes, perennials and lots of pollinator-friendly flowers. It's intended to. be very nature friendly We have created (spring 2023) a small rectangular nature pond.

We think our house is a great place to chill in the suburbs, whilst easily taking advantage of all the excitement London has to offer.
Guest access
You'll have access to the whole house and garden. The reception spaces are a kitchen and sitting room. There is a small utility with a washing machine and an iron / ironing board. No tumble dryer, clothes are dried on the line outside. My daughter's bedroom will be locked. The house hasn't been baby-proofed, but you should be fine with kids here. There's a small pond in the back garden with no protection on it. If you want to come with toddlers, I can arrange to have it covered. Other baby equipment can be organised too.
Other things to note
This area is a very easy trip to and from Heathrow airport. Hanwell main line is on the brand new Elizabeth Line - mega-fast into Central London. Also the Piccadilly line serves Boston Manor, a ten min bus ride.

Generally very quiet, with occasional air traffic overhead (not low). We have two small short-haired dogs, which will NOT be in the house, and the house will be cleaned very thoroughly between guests, but not suitable for people with dog allergy.
