Beautiful location (just like the photos). Richard was very welcoming and lovely to chat to. He and his lovely partner made us feel at home. Good food for dinner and yummy continental breakfast.
Bath/shower could do with a refresh... it's a little dated now.

Staff were great. Views were great along with the rooms .
Was great place to stay and we booked again.

Great location! Was close to Margaret River and also to the venue we had a wedding at.
The staff were fantastic. They went above and beyond when we needed a last minute change to our dates.
Breakfast included was great.
Thank you 😊
Nothing.

Loved the location, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The desert was delicious!
Minimal lighting at night along driveway.

We had the most relaxing stay from the first second to the very end, our room was a haven in the trees and we loved every second.
4.7
Location, the eclectic furniture
Nothing not to like

Loved the location amongst the trees, very peaceful and quiet. The chalet itself was great too and had everything we needed. The staff was super friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Loved the barista coffee at breakfast!
4.7
The hosts, the location, the comfy bed, the relaxed vibe, the on-site restaurant, the grounds, the multiple spaces to read.
Could hear the people in the room above us at night.

The staff and owner Richard was very nice and helpful. The food was great and fresh 😋 the venue was great with beautiful scenery
Nothing to not like was great

Location was nice
it was a bit overpriced and the chalets are not separate. Had other guests. Staying in adjoining part of chalet who were very noisy. Breakfast was okay but not a lot of variety. Would have been good to have hot food options.
4.7
Owners , location, communication, very friendly reception. They took their time to explain everything. Value for money compared other places available in Margaret river.
4.7
I booked online and found the place not exactly as I thought but more. Richard was amazing. He gave us two rooms next to each other even though our rooms where booked in separate locations. I enjoyed the nature around, relaxed in their lounge and was able to see a beautiful Sunrise in a very tranquil environment. Most of all, my hubby was impressed.
4.7
Spacious accommodation with lovely views into the surrounding Karri forest. Antique and eclectic furnishings give the place a charm of its own. Wildlife in abundance and lovely outdoor areas to enjoy at the end of the day. Lots of little seating areas to find a spot to relax and enjoy a moment together. Friendly and engaging host and staff.
Nothing really although if you are looking for a modern minimalist decor this is perhaps not your place.

We loved the location! The lodge is away from the road and surrounded by nature. The chalet was big, had some amenities, and a private balcony facing some big karri trees. Friendly magpies and peacocks would hang around the balcony. Breakfast has just everything you need to start the day, and staff would accommodate any food restrictions. The staff were attentive and would remember coffee orders from previous days. Amazing barista coffee! Enjoyed walking around the area and there is a trail to go to Gracetown Beach and back. Spacious area, quiet, perfect getaway stay!
There is a big window in the chalet where you can see the entire bathroom from the bedroom and the other way around too. In my personal opinion, the bathroom is a private space, so maybe a window-tinted film or a curtain would be great to keep it that way.

Breakfast is good. The surroundings are lovely and the room is spacious, comfortable and clean.

The Manager, Richard, was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good with options of fresh fruit, yoghurt, selection of breads and condiments, muffins, all of which were refilled as necessary, this was accompanied by juice and hot beverages. We opted for an evening meal there; the menu was limited but catered for all tastes and the food was very good.
4.7
Secluded and beautifully designed, staff were lovely and check in/out process was very easy. Perfect little getaway situated in between all of the best wineries and beaches the Margaret River region has to offer!
4.7
The staff was lovely, the location is amazing, very relaxing. Restaurant was nice and wines were so good! Nice to have breakfast included.
The fridge was smelly and freezer didn't work. The spa bath was also not super clean. And unfortunately our rooms were not connected and were far apart from each other, so this is not very convinient. Just be mindful of this and maybe give a call to the property, they are lovely and am sure will sort it out.
4.7
Natural setting, comfortable stay and good breakfast . Close to all wineries and vineyards.
4.7
Breakfast was very good. I liked the MR bread.
4.7
Location, peace and quiet, close to all Margaret River has to offer
Noise from chalet next door, and the peacock.
Included breakfast limited if you don't eat muesli, given the location different options for cured meats and cheese would have been wonderful. No ability to cook, except in a microwave.
The property needs updating.
4.7
Nicely decorated building in a beautiful setting. Some awesome views from the breakfast area all around. Generally, a great location is not too far from Margarge River and other attractions in the area. Awesome stuff.

The breakfast options were pretty standard, though, tasted good.
Location’s amazing.
Maybe a bbq or gas stove could be an added feature to add a bit more relaxed, homely or romantic factor to it.

Location was good. Nice and secluded with as little or as much contact with other people as we wanted. WIFI was patchy and weak but when it worked it was great 😀... the peacocks were hilarious and though I wouldn't say I liked it, a wake up call from a Kookaburra knocking on the door was amusing...
Sorely lacking in facilities.
The unit had a bar fridge, microwave, and kettle. It's pretty remote (which is why we chose the location), the on-site restaurant was pretty poor. This meant that we needed to find other means to cook evening meals or create alternatives...
Neither television was a smart TV, nor would the tv's recognise our chromecast.
As much as we definitely enjoyed the stay, we've stayed in other accommodation at lower cost, with better amenities.

Lovely place to stay in Margaret River. Huge room with a comfy bed and beautiful forest just outside the door! We also really enjoyed the continental breakfast with nice coffee too.

The whole experience, great location, large comfortable Bed/Room
Good breakfast, the staff couldn't do enough to make your stay the best they could.
Absolutely nothing can't fault it.
4.7
The location was lovely. There were peacocks running around. Lots of bird life. Breakfast was basic but good.
Menu was extremely limited so we ate dinner in town which was good because we found some amazing places to eat!
4.7
The staff were great, so very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing for a continental breakfast, different gourmet bread, muesli and topping plus home made muffins and Barrista coffee. The whole building is made to look a lot older than it is. Reclaimed wood and doors, old furniture in every space available. Loved the feel of the place.
The water tanks need to be bigger, I was the second person to have a morning shower, and ended up washing in a dribble of water. The spa/bath couldn't be used due to no plug plus its all on rainwater so wouldn't fill up the tub anyway.

Excellent location, beautiful quaint rooms, affordable prices, super clean facilities within exceptionally lovely surroundings. So peaceful in the bush yet so close and accessible to everything. The breakfast was fantastic as was the coffee and we were greeted by very friendly staff who went over and beyond to make our stay special. Richard, his wife and team are very hard working and weave magic into what they do. We loved our stay so much we’re already looking at more dates to return.

Spacious, clean room with balcony overlooking treetops. Birds and peacocks singing and visiting.
Friendly manager and staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful location. Excellent venue for a retreat. (Best extra-hot decaf cappuccino at breakfast 😘)
The shower in the spa - difficult to get in and out. Rainwater - so water pressure unpredictable.
A pity that the restaurant isn’t operating at present. Karriview has potential.

This accommodation far exceeded our expectations. It had a quiet and peaceful atmosphere, and the staff were so amazing. The place is beautiful from the driveway to the lobby to the rooms themselves. The bed was so comfortable and sheets were so soft. Towels were also great. The room was very well equipped. Small fridge, kettle, and coffee/tea station, iron and ironing board. I will also mention that the aircon/heater worked very well. The decor and the whole vibe of the place were my ultimate highlight. Oh, and the very friendly birds.
Breakfast was great to my memory they had boiled eggs, sourdough bread, granola, yoghurt, juices, muffins, jams, spreads, and fruit salad. They had lots of coffee options, I had an oat latte, and my husband had cappuccinos they were both great. I would 100% stay again.
The only disappointment I had was with the bath as there were what looked like jets in the bath, and they didn't work. We still managed to give my daughter a bath without the jet feature. If you ask her, she will tell you it was the best bath ever! It was very spacious, and they provided body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.
Something needs to be done about the plug as It was nearly impossible to take out! We had to use the end of a spoon to wedge it out lol.
The water pressure is not very good and the hot water takes a very long time to get hot. But the staff did explain that to us on arrival. It is also all filtered rain water, which is very nice on your hair and skin.
