This is a wonderful bolthole, in a beautiful part of North Yorkshire. Great location/accommodation.

The location is great for anyone visiting Rippon and the North Yorkshire Dales. It's a 1.7m from Rippon centre, situated in a quiet rural spot, quite lovely.

There's a junction onto a main road that requires care exiting but there was nothing about the property that was a concern.

Lovely spot , ideal location for Harrogate , Ripon , Ripley Castle ,Fountains Abbey and Newby Hall

Great location for our visit , short drive to Newby Hall . Property has everything you need , clean and tidy with 2 generous sized bedrooms

Definitely a place for country people

Lovely location absolutely beautiful views,we took our pup he absolutely loved the garden and settled in straight away! Wonderful stay just 2 things that let it down the WiFi and both beds was really springy and hard,apart from that we absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again, some amazing dogs walks local and friendly neighbours

The property was very cute

I think it should be mentioned that the next door walk through the garden right past the lounge window and that was a shock, as I'd just come out from showering in the only bathroom downstairs

Great cottage, excellent value for money

Comfortable, lovely decor, quiet and peaceful location. Photos on booking.com should be updated/ - they don’t do justice to the garden, which is lovely

It does what it says on the tin. Nice for a quick overnighter

The owners were lovely and really communicative on the platform. Two comfy sofas and a good working TV for the kids. Accommodation was basic, but reflected in the price.

Smelled a bit musty - but again its an old railway cottage. It is very basic and a bit of a mishmash of stuff. But again, it was what we needed for a one night stop over. If it was for much longer, we would have needed something a bit bigger for 2 adults and 2 young kids. But again the owners were really great and welcoming.

Lovely mini break hole from home

A beautiful cottage with garden in a pretty and rural village just outside of Ripon. The cottage is wonderfully kitted out making it an immediate home from home. The dogs were really happy and settled immediately. A lovely large bathroom and fabulous shower, lovely comfortable beds. Lots of lovely nearby walks near the canal with the dogs.

Nothing significant, the stairs are quite steep but double banister helps. The garden area is shared access with the property next door which was sometimes a little challenging with the dogs, but not an issue.

Great location and character cottage.

Great location quiet and easy access to Ripon. Comfy beds. Character cottage with beams. Small private back garden not overlooked. Spacious walk in shower.

In the second bedroom there was no bedside cabinet due to the wardrobe being too close. Also no space for chest of drawers. The bathroom is downstairs which is a bit inconvenient at night time when you are older! A few trip hazards at the property. A large clock in the living area that is not set. A few more personal touchs would be appreciated

Lovley stay in Ripon

Excellent location , lovely and quiet . Very clean cottage with pretty garden . Well equipped and very tastefully decorated Nice to have a car parking space right by the gate

Only one small comment , the garden isn’t completely secure so dog owners be aware . My dog escaped out under one of the bushes into the road , thankfully the road is quiet.

Absolutely Perfect

It was a lovely stop over for us all, before we went on to Flamingo land :-) It was a 55-minute journey if you go down the country lanes. The small cottage has a very airy, cosy and had a welcoming feel about it. Even the neighbour’s dogs joined us a couple of times. Beautiful surrounding area with an M&S food; Aldi; Morrisons all within two miles away. Large bathroom with a shower to die for, with shower products, also other products. A lovely snug kitchen with everything you need, if you like cooking, that is. Also, it has an amazing flexible hose tap :-) Bedrooms were very spacious. Beds are lovely, but they are firm. If they are too firm for you, the sofa is massive :-) In the entrance to the property, there is the biggest chair we have ever seen for such a small area, but it works. Garden & patio area were beautiful, peaceful. I hope you get to hear the Owls at night.

Wonderful would definately stay again

Beautiful location, very sweet property, gorgeous garden and very close to local walk along the canal.

It was fabulous, could have done with a few more utensils in the kitchen such as oven dishes however the lady looking after the property was very very helpful and friendly.

Lovely stay in beautiful, quiet location.

Lovely property in very quiet and friendly location. Super comfortable and spacious. Nice walks nearby. Owner popped around to say Hi and check I had everything I needed. Also left a handy list of things I might need, from pubs, supermarkets, takeaways etc.

Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful location

We spent a short weekend in this little gem of a cottage. It was positioned in a lovely location, the garden was perfect for the dogs, well secure and could let them freely run around. The house was clean and very nicely decorated. The house offered everything that we needed during our stay, it was very comfortable and all facilities were excellent! Well recommended and will hopefully be returning!

Relaxing quiet place to stay. Just unfortunate about the couple of issues that could be easily resolved

Very comfy cosy cottage with parking space off road. Good price. Easy to find. Garden to sit in which overlooks open fields.

I feel the back bedroom needs more thought put into it. Double wardrobe took up a lot of space that left no room for a bedside table. I take a glass of water to bed but there was nowhere to put it but on the floor, also no lamp too. I like to read but had to have the main light on which is not good if only one likes to read. No mirror so had to go either downstairs to the bathroom or use the front bedroom one which may not always be appropriate. Single wardrobe and mirror instead of two framed prints would be much better. Unfortunately shower runs hot then cold.

Quiet. Helpful owner. Quaint cottage with windy stairs. Downstairs bathroom. Good sized bedrooms,wi fi. Good kitchen ,off road parking and pretty garden. Great walk in shower.

Downstairs bathroom difficult in night. Stairs a bit steep.
