Great quiet place. Walk to beach or different restaurant/bar. The staff were all so amazing. So friendly and inviting. Would definitely stay there again

This is a safe, friendly place to stay, where you can either have tours booked for you, or work out what to do yourself. I just wanted a safe place to stay, not a resort, as I wanted to do my own thing every day. Emma and Lydia booked my tours and at a small cost, drove me to and from Port Denerau etc when needed. Thank you :) So, this was perfect for me. My room window was facing the breakfast area, so there was some noise from 6am, but hey, I wasn't in Fiji to sleep all day, so this was my alarm clock, to shower, have breakfast (included) and get on with the day!
I recommend thinking about the cultural night, with fire dancing and dinner!

Definitely stay here!! It is just a two minute walk to the beach and is surrounding by amazing dining options. Popular excursions pick up from this area as well. Taxis are readily available as well. The staff is INCREDIBLE - so welcoming, kind, and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and afternoon tea was lovely.

Hotel transfers are cheaper and safer than taxis. They are very friendly. They helped me check out early in the morning for an early flight.

The loveliest people run this B&B! It is certainly a budget accommodation but you cannot beat the location or the way they treat you. I felt like family from
The moment I arrived. The room was pretty basic but I had everything I needed. I will absolutely stay here again the next time I am in Fiji.

I had a lovely stay here as a solo female traveler! All of the staff were so so kind and breakfast was delicious.
The rooms can be a bit loud so I would recommend brining ear buds if you’re a light sleeper but I would definitely stay again and can’t recommend enough. Thank you for making me feel so welcomed!

Very close to some of the more fancy hotels and just a couple minutes to the beach. The breakfast in the morning is pretty awesome, although I did have a power outage for a few hours while I was there. There was also a really loud commotion at like 2am that all the guests were talking about the next day, but it was probably a one-off.
They provide free water in the common area, and everyone is super nice and friendly. It is a good option if you want to interact with some real residents I would say.

The Ideal Bed and Breakfast was an excellent place to stay in Wailoaloa area as it was close to the beach and various bars and restaurants. The family running it were very helpful and friendly and the included breakfast was tasty and filling. The rooms and common spaces were very clean.

For the price, it exceeded by far my expectations. The staff are exceptionally accomodating, friendly and helpful. I was very comfortable and plan to bring my family there on our next visit. Well worth every dollar spent and more.

The staff so amazing, I am a solo traveler and they made me feel so welcome 🙏. I checked out for my tour and they kept my bags and allowed me to shower and freshen up when I got from from my tour and before I went to the airport..wonderful family. Knoxs was wonderful as well.. and the owner’s sister sooo nice..

The staff were incredible! Fiji hospitality at its finest. Breakfast was served in the morning and was simple but delicious. I arrived to no power (whole area was out) so decided to go for a swim to cool down as the beach is a 2 min walk away. I came back and power was on. Thankful for the aircon in my room. Lifesaver. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the bathroom facilities and the all round general upkeep - but it’s Fiji, you can’t be expecting the ritz! Once again, staff = amazing!

The staff are very nice and hospitable. Had a rental car and was able to park on-site. Breakfast was included in the stay - bacon, sausages, eggs, toast, fruit, cereal. Had a single room in a shared two story house with air conditioning. Shared the shower facilities with the people in the next room. Door was often locked and I couldn’t get in. No hot water service. Had to brave the cold arctic temperatures. Bedroom floor felt sandy and sticky in the humidity. Surrounding views of an overgrown paddock. Airport runway less that 1 km away and very noisy. Convenience store down the road and restaurant. Very pricy for what you are getting.

Excally as advertised, decent family run accommodation. I learnt the Fijian culture is one of the best! The Ideal B&B go out of their way to make you feel welcome and looked after. I really enjoyed my stay, I didn't want to leave. And I hope I can stay with you guys again. Thank you!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, can't do enough for you, will even transport you for any excursions you are wanting to do and airport transfers. Communication prior to arriving was very clear.
The WiFi is only available in reception area which can be frustrating but also great for meeting and talking to other guests. Lots of choices for evening meals close by.
I asked to move room because of the noise of neighbours air con unit and they were apologised even though it's me being a light sleeper, it doesn't bother most people, but the internal room they gave me was much quieter and I got great night sleep.

Shared toilet, it was misleading in the advertisement.

A simple but clean accommodation. B&B is a short walk to the beach, to get to town you'd need to take a taxi.
This property is under new owners, who are amazing and made the stay great. I would definitely come back.
Thank you very much for an amazing experience.

It was really Nice to be received by the staff and even the car. The bed was good, the breakfast was good if not excellent. Good Breda, good tea and coffee, fruit and even omelet, thet know how to cook. By the Way, free cookies and coffee at arrival and afternoon. Good placement 5 min walk from the Beach and eatinhplaces. Little nuisenses like where to put your w’et todel and clothes. You only Got One Towers.

I am so happy I chose to stay at the Ideal Bed & Breakfast.
The staff is amazing and very friendly and helpful. I felt like a part of the family and if you want to experience the true Fijian way, this is the place for you.
The staff went out of their way to help me find a place with the best WiFi so I could do some online work while I was there and they were always friendly and kind.
They even went to the store and got me a soda I really wanted while I was working.
As a solo traveler, I felt safe and welcomed.
The place is an upcoming place and the rooms are simple and with shared bathroom and toilet but still has what you need.
The included breakfast is great and made for you whenever you want in the morning and I was also lucky to experience a free Fijian lunch feast that they cooked up for family, friends and guests.
I would definitively come back, I felt that I made friends for life.

Not clean and loud staff middle of the night.

The staff were really nice and helpful and very friendly. Awful pillow though, felt like sleeping on a bag of rocks. Close to the airport and the beach is a couple minutes walk away, quite a few restaurants and spas and the neighouring hotels. Bit nosy in the middle of the night with people cooking and doing dishes, had more of a hostel vibe than a bed and breakfast.

Lovely people, really nice breakfast, lovely place to stay, close to beach and places to eat, easy to get to the airport.

FIVE STARS ... FOR HOSPITALITY AND SERVICE !!
Great hearty breakfasts, wonderful authentic Sunday lunch.
Tu Vili the manager was excellent in co-ordinating the stays and helping many guests with their daily plans.
Tu Vili, Napoleon & Nox (the cooks and helpers) had the best helpful and caring attitude.
There was also Vee and she was on hand to offer day tours and competitively priced taxi rides to the airport or in my case to get a hair cut and buy some broad shorts !
They recommended the short walk to The Beach Club in Wailoaloa which was great for dining and quality live music - all right on the beach.
It was also conducive to making new friends and I have made some long lasting friends from being at this venue.
When I go back to Nadi, I will definitely be staying there !!
All the best.

These are the greatest hosts. They have only been open 30 days and the hospitality is second to none. They are continuing to improve the facilities and the location is outstanding.

I like the quietness ofthe place.
I don't like: No clothes hangers in the room, only one socket, small room but quite high price.

So this is an entirely new business (as the other reviews say). The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home! I love that it's locally owned.
It's worth noting, I stayed in their most basic room. I was travelling solo and planned on spending very little time in the room.
It is basic - you're getting what you pay for, but it does feel very clean and very safe. I gave feedback directly, which I think they'll take on board asap. This place will go from strength to strength.
They have started offering dinner in the evenings - and if you eat one meal in Fiji - eat here!! Incredible local cuisine for a super affordable price!

Great welcoming from the staff! Rooms are nice & clean but the best is the delicious Fijian breakfast included every morning! It is also much quieter than the main hotels in the area so perfect place if you want to have a quiet stay.
I have to say that staff is pretty incredible and that is definitely the place I'll be staying at on my next visit to Fiji.
Highly recommand!!

Overall good but they can do better and if they do can turn out to be really good.

This is the most welcoming place I ever stayed in my life anywhere in the world. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. They feed you a big delicious breakfast in the morning. I had the room with the double bed and it was very big, clean, and great air conditioning. They also have single bed rooms so if they don’t show up on Expedia reach out to them directly if you’re a solo traveler and want a single bed room. This is a new business and they are building a deck for relaxing. You will feel so welcome, safe, and happy if you stay here.
