About this cabin rental
Located at Eype's Mouth, you can enjoy tranquil beach days, and peaceful walks exploring Dorset's South West Coastline during your stay. This beautiful chalet style property offers bright and airy, contemporary features, and the perfect space for a small gathering, all with breath-taking uninterrupted sea views.
You will be welcomed with a decked platform with outside seating, from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the coast. As you enter The Billy Shed through glass sliding doors, a comfortable and sociable open-plan sitting, dining and kitchen area, awaits you. With all of the accommodation situated on the same level in this single storey chalet, you will find the three bedrooms and one bathroom at the rear. The double bedroom, twin bedroom and separate single bedroom have contemporary decor, and comfortable beds. The family bathroom includes a bath with overhead shower, hand basin and WC.
Just a short drive away you will find the market town of Bridport, with its famous street market, independent shops and restaurants, and it is well worth a visit. If you are a fan of the ITV series Broadchurch, the chalet used in the first series is opposite The Billy Shed, and West Bay where the series was based is just a short drive away, where you can see many familiar sights, including the popular harbour.
There is so much to be enjoyed on the doorstep of this beautiful property, with the coast path heading east and west, and the nearby coastal villages of Burton Bradstock, West Bexington and Seatown. However, don't let that stop you from exploring a little further, with Chesil beach, Charmouth, Lyme Regis, Abbotsbury, Weymouth and Portland all just a pleasant drive away, along Dorset's famous coastal road. For more energetic pursuits, the walk up to the top of nearby Golden Cap is highly recommended, affording wonderful views all along the coastline from this highest point of the South Coast.
