The property was in a very quiet area on the south side of the River Vienne. It had all we needed as we were only two people. As four people could have gone as there was a sofa bed there was nowhere for the people using that to put their clothes as the only wardrobe was in the bedroom. The owner was very flexible about our arrival time which was two hours later than our end time. She gave us the code to get in the front door and told us where the apartment key had been hidden. Unfortunately the code did not work but luckily someone came out so we were able to get into the building and foudn the key. They had left the key to the front door in the flat. They phoned to check all was well. We mentioned the code and they thought they might have given the wrong one but when we checked the next day the screen said the code was not in use. We don't know where the owners lived but had asssumed they would check us out but instead they asked us to take pictures of the property, which we did, and to put the keys in their letter box which we did. We thought it odd that we were asked to take pictures as had we done any damage we obviously would not have taken pictures of it and also we could have taken something after we had taken the pictures. They didn't tell us what to take pictures of so we took lots to be on the safe side. Maybe this is common but we have never come across this before as either an owner has checked us out or the cleaner reports any damage.
