We returned 3rd time to La Terazza. It is one of our favourites in Italy. It is in the old town, bear to restaurants and bars. The room is furnished with nice old furniture, has minibar and a well equipped bathroom. The breakfast is excellent, served on the terrace full with plants and flowers and a view to the old town. The men taking care of the house and preparing our breakfast is very frindly and nice person. Everything was just perfect.

very nice staff and amazing ambiance! The breakfast was traditional Italian and we could not have it better!
quite long way up to the bed and breakfast
4.1
The rooms are clean with modern furniture and bathroom. The hotel is on the upper floors of a charming old building, located in the historical part of the town.
You need to call by phone for check in.

stunning house!! amazing breakfast. and kind host.

The property was in the old Town and looked nice… BUT…!!!!
1) coming from the station to the property was a real nightmare dot. Basically I walked around the old town which I have to climb like a headless chicken and been told off by the owner because you know I said I would be arriving around 6 pm, but due to the train and the fact that I got lost for one hour of course, they were a bit waiting for me but I don’t think it’s the best way to welcome you guess telling them off because your lack of clear instruction to get to the property.
2) the house was nice and renovated but unfortunately to access their dining room terrace and basically the rooftop and second floor of the house. They chosen to put a metallic round staircase which was quite dangerous because very narrow but also that was stuff was climbing up and down, making such a noise from seven in the morning to any guest until 10 pm.
3) the room look charming at first, but soon I discovered horrendous pillow covers with stain and dirt, with no pillow, undercase and simply a light pillowcase, which one of them had a whole about 5 cm. In a time of Covid in anyway, knowing how many people could’ve slept on those pillows and done whatever they want with cluster sweats all the germs, I was absolutely shocked and disgusted.
The owner came again across very arrogant and explained me, not knowing I was the five-star hotel GM that this is not something they were doing normally. I explaining it was simply unacceptable and you will simply make your own opinion by seeing the pictures.
4) The room was not dusted properly and they were hundreds of cobwebs everywhere. I know we were close to Halloween, but honestly I prefer room without these features.
5) finally, the maid took me to the kitchen because I have tons of allergies to see what he could offer me for breakfast. Then again, I was in shock to see in the fringe cut open melon.

it was clean with nice atmosphere and very I
unusual in a good way. location was also great.
no complaints, bit difficult to find at the first time but old town is old town.

Great location. It is a very short walk away from the cathedral. Park as close to the cathedral as you can. Walk to the little cathedral Square. Vico Olivi is a tiny street down from the cathedral and restaurant painted green. Good restaurant.
Beautifully renovated apartment.
Good breakfast on a beautiful rooftop terrace.
Comfortable bed.
Good bathroom /shower.
Difficult to find. Tricky parking. See earlier comments. Lots of steep stairs.

This B&B is really wonderful. The decoration is very charming and it really feels like a home. The breakfast on the roof terrace is just stunning. They have thought about all the details like beautiful tableware. A great experience!
It was not really easy to find and the staff was quite late for checking in. If you travel by car make sure you will drive up to the cathedral.

Fantastic location and decor of both the room and the communal areas of the tastefully done B&B. Stunning little terrace with views to the old city’s cathedral where a tasty Italian breakfast is served.
Easy access to the beach via the elevator.
Liked all of it… if anything needed to be added, perhaps some tips and guides to main things to do and recommended restaurants and cafes. I would definitively trust the manager’s advice.

Perfect location, beautiful space and lovely service 😊

The breakfast was amazing, the terrace beautiful and the young man who welcomes you and provides breakfast is very helpful and kind. I was a lone woman traveller and felt very safe and looked after!

Absolute gem. Amazing breakfast on a beautiful terrace and we had a lovely room with French doors onto a balcony looking over the town.
It is a steep walk but apparently there is a lift somewhere we just didn’t get round to finding it. But lovely to be in the little back walkways on the hill.

We loved the room! Very quaint, traditional features mixed with lovely modern bathroom and small modern kitchen. Bedroom was super cute and bed was comfortable. This was a very unique little B&B with lovely roof top where we had a delightful breakfast. The decor was very fitting. Our room also had lovely comfortable sitting chair and small sofa. Security of building and room was very good. Location was great in the old town. Although we wouldn’t recommend Ventimiglia itself (was quiet dirty and not really what we expected - we wouldn’t go again). This place was nice to stay in
We liked everything at the B&B itself

The terrace on the roof was the best place around for breakfast, really nice view and breakfast was delicious. The place is unique and beautiful, our room was big and comfy. Very clean. Staff was nice! speaks English!
Recommend
Checking in was difficult as we waited outside the place until one of the staff came to open the door for us. Must call the host to let you in.
Also , lots of stairs inside (was OK for us but might be difficult for some)

The breakfast on the roof top terrasse, which has its charme, was very nice
The owner was flexible (we had to change our plan and he was accomodative)
This bed and breakfast is extremely small and the rooms even smaller, without even talking about the bathroom where you cannot be more than one person.
Long and tiny stairs to reach the few rooms (that are inside a building.
Host was pretty cold, not smiling

Location is super! Bathroom is very tiny —> I am 6 feet tall, taking a shower is quite an experience ;-)
The owner was unfriendly :-(
The caretaker was just the opposite, friendly & prepared a wonderful breakfast.
4.1
The house is incredibly charming and breakfast at the terrace was amazing. Staff was also very helpful and sympathetic. The house is however difficult to move around if you have any movement difficulty or disability as it consists of several levels with stairs. The bathroom of the room we stayed was also pretty small so I would not recommend for fat people. The location was also a plus, a great surprise for us.. but again, if you're carrying a heavy luggage, I would maybe suggest getting there by taxi.

The room and the B&B in general were very charming, decorated with respect for the building and its history, beautiful old furniture and pretty decorations. The city itself was a big disappointment, very dirty, with all buildings crumbling before your eyes. The room could have used a bit more cleaning too. The staff was very friendly, offering a very delicious breakfast. We liked the experience as a one off, we wouldn't like to return to Ventimiglia.

The staff is very friendly
It is a steep climb to the house an there are some uneven stairs that could make you fall. Beware! Not suitable for disabled.
