About this house rental
Need an escape? A relaxing oasis awaits. Our Rustic redwood cabin is nestled in the heart of Big Bear City, steps away from eateries, attractions, the serene waters of Big Bear Lake & soothing splendor of the forest. Whether hitting slopes or trekking trails, you're just a few minutes from ski resorts & the charming shops of The Village. Outfitted with tons of cozy comforts – a luxe King in the master, two 55” smart TVs, an outdoor BBQ built for feasts – look no further, Wooden Bliss awaits you!
The space...
Featuring two bedrooms, an open-concept living space and a beautiful redwood deck, Wooden Bliss is the premier spot for every season. Our living room lets in lots of natural light, accented by vaulted knotty pine ceilings. Cozy up to the wood burner, play some tunes on the record player, or flip through endless viewing options on our curved 55-inch smart TV. For entertaining and late-night game antics, gather around the massive 8-foot oak table, which doubles as a workstation for peaceful sunrise meals.
The primary suite is a romantic escape for couples and parents alike, outfitted with a second 55-inch smart TV and Tempur-Pedic king mattress topper that’s as comfy as a cloud. In the second bedroom, guests and children have more space to slumber on full-sized bunk beds.
Our kitchen entices the chef in all of us, featuring a gourmet KitchenAid cooktop, cookware and appliances for nearly every occasion, and a Kohler sprayhead faucet for easy clean-up. Don’t feel like cooking? Walk to five restaurants and the Liquor Junction, all within half a mile of our property, or take a short drive to the countless restaurants and shops in the nearby Village.
Star-gaze and bird-watch outside on our deck or toss your favorite eats on the Weber Genesis Grill as the sunset peaks through the trees. Our fenced-in yard is completely enclosed, ideal for your furry friends to roam around freely.
Stroll a mile down to Big Bear Lake. Even closer is the family-fun Snow Play & Speedway, offering snow tubing, go-karts, zipline and more. Check out the Convention Center for seasonal events like Ocktoberfest and that oh-so-finger-lickin-good Wyatts BBQ, or scope out aircraft departing Big Bear’s high-elevation airport. Don’t forget the hiking, biking and strolling trails that Big Bear is known for, all a short distance from your new place. There’s no shortage of activities for all types.

The cabin was exactly as described and the renovation was well done and tasteful. Nice quiet neighborhood and not too far from anything. Communication with the host was timely which was greatly appreciated.

Overall I really enjoyed the cabin. It felt very homey and cozy. It had all the kitchen essentials necessary and bathroom essentials. It also had a pretty good heating system. I also liked that it had room for my pup to roam around outside. The cabin was also in a great location that had the ski resort nearby lots of restaurants, near the lake. The only complaint I have is that the linen in the rooms was not 100% clean there were human hairs and dog hairs on the bed but other than that it was great.
