8BR 7.5BA Beachfront duplex side. Pool. Extra fridges. Lots of space. And right on the beach! Sleeps 26, or up to 52 in both sides!
Big is beautiful! Sea Monster is a “monster” as in BIG, but she's certainly not ugly! And the location!? Can't be beat. Close to everything, especially the beach! Right out your back door, with the only thing between you and the water being sand... and well, more water... because your own pool, private to the duplex is right there too! Plus... this home is right across from Waves Grocery, ice cream, seafood and a great bar and grill! Location. Location. Location.
This listing is for the East side unit, Sea Monster, East! You can also rent the other side, or both together as a 2x8 bedroom place. Like having a 16 bedroom but with two of almost everything: kitchens, living rooms, more! Well, FOUR of some things since each side has TWO refrigerators! When renting both sides, guests may unlock the connecting door on the main level for easy access between the two sides without going up and down the stairs from the main entries.
It is perfect for those larger get togethers: plenty of space to be together but plenty of your own space too!
Sea Monster is a duplex with 8 bedrooms and 7.5 baths on each side! It sleeps up to 26, or 52 if you take both sides. Each side has the following:

3rd Floor South BR: King
3rd Floor Middle BR: King
3rd Floor North BR: King
4th Floor South BR: King
4th Floor Middle South BR: 2 x Twin Bunks
4th Floor Middle North BR: Queen
4th Floor North BR: 2 Queen + Twin Bunk
All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms EXCEPT the 4th Floor Middle BR. Note, there are not separate bathrooms if using the Living Room or Lounge QSS so bath use would be with adjacent rooms. Additionally, the bunk room can either use the adjacent (en suite, separate entrance with the south bedroom) OR the common bath on that level.

BIG outdoor pool (shared only between the two sides). 30x16x3-5' rectangular bit of beachfront bliss!
PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 6 cars per side. More if you park under then home and stack carefully. Just share nice with the neighbors!
WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.

Great location! Great views! 99% perfect. Rooms are large and comfortable. We had 5 families, 19 people and it worked well. Little bit tight for the older kids. Broken coffee maker and almost no sheet cooking pans kept it from being 100.[😎 Thanks Tom! Glad you had a 99% perfect stay! 😉 We will get that 1% back next time. Speaking of, if you have little things like that, just reach out. Happy to have things replenished. Some of those probably migrated next door--in the duplexes, it is very common for folks to rent both sides (for LOTS of space, and double all the living areas), but sometimes the cooks move things around when that happens and that doesn't always get caught in the hubbub of same day turns. Sheet pans, utensils, crockpots (heck, I've seen furniture!) go walkabout in those situations. Just send a note next time to me, or to Bama Beach Houses, and they will be right out. Ditto if you have any issues with anything at all! Thanks again! Again, so glad you all had a wonderful time in Sea Monster! 🙏]

Faucet in kitchen sink was quirky. Would not shut completely off unless a certain place found and was not the same place each time. Floor in main den needed to be moped--9 month old had dirty feet from crawling on the floor. Otherwise was a very good stay.

Place great! Like having a Private beach not congested. Great to have pool for kids . Close to beach. Two refrigerators, two dishwashers nice for 18 people. I would recommend for large family. Lots of space we had 8 adults and nine children. We had an extra room and extra beds.

The property is perfect for large groups, we loved the location. In addition to the fact that although we shared the house with other families, each one had enough space and privacy. It is the first time we visited Gulf shores beach and we liked it a lot because it is perfect for families with small children since the waves are calm and the coast is not deep. 100% recommended!!!

This home was very nice, it fit my entire crew of 11 adults and 3 kids comfortably. The view was spectacular! The pool was nice and kept the kids busy, I would make one small suggestion and that's to add a mini fridge on the 3rd level for beverages so you don't have to go all the way down to the main level. This home was all we needed and more, would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time and are so thankful we were able to rent from you last-minute! It was our first time to Gulf Shores and we are talking about returning next year! (I hope pandemic-free by then so we can actually see more of the sights and businesses.). I was afraid our bad luck was continuing when we arrived late that Sat. Night and couldn't get into the unit. The neighbors appeared immediately and suggested we try their door lock combination...we didn't realize until later they were checked into our side, West, so that's why their combination worked on the East side. Not sure how they got in to the wrong side, but I assume they were unpacked before they realized their mistake. No worries. Overall we were very happy with the location of the house and enjoyed being right on the beach. My brother and nephew love to fish and had pretty good luck so that was fun. Also great to have the pool. The filter wasn't working the first few days but the guy came and cleaned out so that was good.

We had an amazing time at SeaMonster West! Bama Beach Houses was great. We didn't really have any issues we couldn't resolve ourselves, so I don't think we ever had a need to reach out to them. We had plenty of room, and we had a couple of warm, sunny days, so there isn't much more you can ask for. All in all…it was fantastic. We had plenty of room for everyone, and we all had a great time. I truly appreciate you working with us. We would not have been able to go without your help!

We had last minutes issues with our rental and we found this place was open. The owners worked with us to get us in and we had a great time, even extended our stay!

We have stayed here every year for multiple years. We LOVE Sea Monster. The owners are so kind too. We hope to return for many more years. Nice updates to paint and furniture this year too!

We loved it!! Our entire group was so happy with the whole set up of the houses so close to one another, the pool, the underneath space where the kids could hang out and the houses in general. Very clean and spacious! The weather could have been better but that is just my luck! Our group golfed, okayed pickle ball and played beach games despite the weather. Beach patrol was awesome. They came up to us and handed my son a ticket for having too much fun and then handed out Gulf shore koozies to everyone! It was a great time by mom and kids. The Managment company was great. One of the houses had an incident where a kids diabetes alarm feel off his arm and into the toilet and they came right out to help! Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your homes. I have already spread the word around about how great it was if anyone is considering renting!

We've stayed in the Sea Monster, East and West, several times over the years. The accommodations worked well for my family. It appeared as though the interior had been repainted which looked good. We enjoyed the house, the pool and the beach. The location is perfect.
