- Kindly note this is a newly built neighborhood, still under construction. You will find different houses across the community which are still in process of being finished.
- The 4th bedroom has a bunk bed of queen and single bed. Plus a twin size air matress.

One of the cottages at Mauna Olu is located in a gated community with 24 hours security.
This home away from home has a lot to offer with beautiful beaches, local snorkeling, and eateries all within a 10-minute drive.
QUIET TIME:
This is in a gated residential community, please be mindful of our neighbors, no parties, no events, or large gatherings, HOA requires quiet hours 9:00 pm - 8:00 am.
PARKING:
Driveway parking. No parking allowed on the street and road.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home except for a few closets, and cabinets that we have locked.

Nice property in a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful ocean views. The one downfall is that it was out of the way for sight-seeing. It was quite a drive to get anywhere.

We were happy to sew the property was described, and looked as in the photos and information. The location is quiet, felt secure, and the view wonderful. We had 8 people, and this location fit us comfortably. Little extras were appreciated- such as coffee & laundry supplies, swim towels, beach items, games and the hammock. We would stay here again!

Great place to stay for attending a destination wedding with many friends.

Biggest problem was the water heater. Only 4 people could take a hot shower and then you had to wait more than 4 hours to get another hot shower. A bigger water heater should be in a house that can hold more than 8 people.
Everything else was good. Pictures exactly as website. Very quick response to inquiries. Beds very comfortable.
GPS kept taking us to wrong house so definitely get directions from guard at gate.
Beach chairs, snorkeling, and bodyboards and ice chest was a plus! Extra supplies available if asked for. Security cameras on outside of house and neighborhood made you feel very safe. Great beach only a few minutes away but an hour away to nearly everything else.

My family visited the island during spring break. The property was clean and stocked with everything we needed. The scenic views, and games in the garage were a plus. We loved everything about our visit and would definitely recommend this property to others.

The home is beautiful. Its located in what looks like a new but established development. The bedroom and bathroom numbers and sizes were more than adequate for our group of seven. As beautiful and modern as the decor was, it wasn't really practical for a large group. One couch and two chairs didn't allow for the whole family to comfortably watch any shows together. We ended up using the island and dining area to congregate. There is also a sufficient amount of dshes, cookware and backware but be prepared to hand wash or run the dishwasher each night in order to have enough clean dishes for the next day if you have a large group like we did. Same goes for wash clothes and towels. Everyone had one of each for a seven day stay. Onsite laundry is available including detergent and fabric softener so that was helpful, just be prepared to do laundry. The basketball game in the garage was enjoyed by everyone, that's definitely a perk! It was also nice to have beach gear provided- towels, lounge chairs, googles, bucket and shovel, boogie boards, a cooler, etc. That was all greatly appreciated and handy! The ocean and mountain views from the backyard were amazing but the yard itself lacked furnishings and landscaping. FULL DISCLOSURE THOUGH...the lack of landscaping was disclosed prior to our visit in the arrival instruction email.
Overall I would recommend the home. Please take into consideration the size of your group and how much time you want to or plan on staying inside.

The overall experience with this house was positive. Great and safe location, relaxing vibes and good amount of space. The backyard has a mountain view as well as the ocean view so you get both from one house!

Location was beautiful and home was perfect for our needs of celebrating the college graduates. We were able to reach all the excursions we had planned and Makaha beach park as well as Pokai Bay were lovely and easy distance to reach.
