Lekeitio has a lot to offer; the beaches of Isuntza and Karraspio that come together at low tide, leaving an access platform to the island of Garraitz or San Nicolás usable; The old town and the port to take a walk and enjoy the excellent gastronomy while you drink a Txakolí (slightly sparkling Basque white wine); take a walk to the Santa Catalina lighthouse, the only lighthouse that can be visited in the Basque Country, from where you can see the entire coast of Gipuzkoa; enjoy active tourism with water sports activities... And what about the nearby surroundings, such as the mystical and cinematographic setting of the rock of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe or the spectacular nature of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, as well as the history of the bombing from Gernika, with its peace museum or the assembly house, where the Gernika tree, a symbol of Basque liberties, is located, or stroll and get to know the Basque capitals that can be reached in about an hour by car.
Uribarren jauregia is a house that takes you to another era. It allows the visitor to feel the experience of staying on one floor of a mansion, with the rooms prepared for tranquility and enjoyment, with all the details. From a traditional kitchen-dining room with hardwoods and all kinds of appliances, to a dining area with a window overlooking the building's patio, with a fountain and goldfish.
The DEPOSIT will be charged before arrival, through electronic payments, in which the credit card will be essential.
The entrance to the portal from Uribarren street is already spectacular, where two golden lions will receive you as someone special who will undoubtedly have a unique experience. The elevator itself is special, with a huge window that is recreated in the ascent and that takes time to arrive. Once inside, the hall takes us into the stately style of the house, giving way to the right to 4 double rooms with 135 and 150 beds. Some of them with a division within the same room for resting and reading or sewing.
The main room also has a hidden bathroom in the built-in closet of the room. As in a fairy tale, when crossing the closet the space becomes enormous and the shell-shaped bathtub and the pieces of the sink are arranged for the personal use of the guest. The house has another bathroom in the common area, with a large bathtub, where the painted sinks and toilets are striking.
The living room, with views of the Town Hall, the port area and the sea, is drawn as a space for relaxation, under the lamps, rosettes, painted moldings and large windows that extend throughout the house.
