About this house rental
Take it easy at The Wilbarger Villa in one of Georgetown's oldest neighborhoods! Enjoy breathtaking sunsets overlooking Southwestern University and Downtown Georgetown! Enjoy the comforts of a clean country escape while being just a mile from the Historic Georgetown Square. Fully stocked Kitchen with Keurig coffee maker & pods, high-end comfy sheets and bed, washer & dryer, and plenty of lounging space. We can't wait to host you! We have weekly and monthly discounts built in for longer stays!
The living, kitchen and dining rooms are very open and flow nicely to the back deck. Bedrooms are both good sizes. Bedroom 1 has 1 king and features an ensuite full bath and closet. Bedroom 2 has a queen, closet, and is a short walk down the hall to the 2nd full bathroom and washer and dryer closet. There is an air mattress (Queen) as well. The backyard has a fence separating it from the properties to the right and left. You may see a guest at one of the neighboring units from time to time, but it's generally very private.
There's a chance you might see another guest pulling up, or maybe across the fence in the backyard, but other than that, you likely won't see anyone else. We live in Georgetown, and are downtown a lot for work/social/fun. If you run into any issues, just let us know and we will get it taken care of. We very much care about your experience and want to make sure your stay is great!
This is an extremely unique neighborhood and feels "off the beaten path" even though it's very close to downtown. It's one of the oldest "neighborhoods" in Georgetown. The road is a little bumpy right now as they're planning to re-pave it. Before you get to the property, you'll pass a couple homes that need some maintenance, some brand new, and just a mixture of properties. Everyone is very friendly.

There's plenty of parking in the circular driveway in front of the house, just make sure not to block the driveway for either house to the right and left.

This is a quiet cozy house. Very much enjoyed our stay. Great rural neighborhood off the beaten path. Highly recommend.. Did have one issue with the internet but the owner took care of it right away. The Queen bed was uncomfortable and should be changed.

Such a great place! Private, off the main road and close to everything.

The property was very clean and conveniently located. The only reason why I would give 4 stars is because the lock/key was very hard to use and the beds were not comfortable. Other than that everything is good and the hosts were very communicative.

The property was wonderful, and the owner had really thought about what one might need to stay in the house. They had things like cleaners, umbrellas, extra cooking utensils, extra blankets, etc. We were stunned at how functional the house was. If we hadn't brought something ourselves, we only needed to look around a bit to find it in the house! The view over Georgetown is stunning, we spent half our time outside. We also appreciated the amount of outdoor seating and the height of the fencing: we did not have to worry about our dogs escaping or constantly getting worked up over the people next door. We truly enjoyed our time, felt like a home away from home!

This place was very easy to find. The house is wide open with the living area, dining and kitchen all being together. Would be great for kids to play in! 10/10 would stay here again. Excellent host who helped me out a ton!

We were in town to help my daughter move. This was a great place to relax after working hard all day.

This house is set up with almost everything you could possibly need to feel like you're still at home. Our dogs appreciated the back yard just as much as I did and the separate bedrooms for traveling with kids is a game changer. We would definitely stay here again.
