Very worst experience

Location is very worst and congested, no proper landscaping, costly, very worst parking facility, no help from hotel staff for parking, lockage transport and soon...

All good.

I arrived early around 9am, however the check-in was at 11 or 12 noon. Although it was mentioned that there hotel will try their best to accommodate early check-in, and even when the rooms were available, they charged me 1500 fir early check-in for 2 hours. This charge was around 12% of the entire original booking. This extra hefty charge for early check-in was not anticipated.

Ideal to say it as lodge/guest other than hotel with low tariff is better

Nothing.

We were misled by Booking.Com as Hotel and zero payment booking . Infact it is in the category of lodge/guest house without adequate facility of bell boy. Booking made on the assurance of zero payment but guest house /lodge collected full payment before allowing entry in guest house /lodge. Accordingly room tariff is on much higher side. Actual tariff should not be more than Rs 1200- 1500/day. Behaviour of property owner / staff is not guest worthy but very rude with greater focus on collecting full payment before allowing entry in room. Booking.com is advised to place this property under guest house/lodge category with revised tariff on lower side after proper inspection of property.

Forgettable

The staff were welcoming and friendly

We didn’t get off to a good start when they cancelled our booking and then told us that it was us that had cancelled. The room smelled strongly of mothballs and lots of mosquitos also didn’t didn’t help.

Horrible. Never stay here. Try to avoid. There is 1 staff who knows what is happening and he was trying to sort things b

Nothing basically. Just have to avoid staying here.

Everything. Firstly the linen, duvet and pillow cover was not changed. Basically we requested other room which eventually was the same for every room. Don’t think they change these fitting after every guests. The restaurant is horrible and don’t recommend taking any food there. Many more to comment but will stop here.

Worst hotel not at all recommended

Nothing to like in this hotel.

The hotel entrance, The toilets, the staff, breakfast no food service and room service after 10pm. They straight away told me to order food on Swiggy or Zomato. Rooms are smelling bad odour. Only 1 staff and 1 manager. No restaurant. Breakfast is of 2 or 3 items served in room directly. No proper place for breakfast. Only shine online but not in reality. Very bad experience. Not at all recommended.

Amazing property In Madurai

Hotel D Grand has always been my choice and this hotel has also lived up to its name and my expectations. The staff was very kind and cordial always helping and ready to assist if needed. The restaurant is great with a lot of food options, sumptuous buffet for breakfast n dinner. The taste was good and the hygiene was just top notch for the rooms and food as well. The staff takes the experience to another level. Thank you for such a wonderful service.

Nothing.

Staff are new and untrained. Rooms are poor. Hard to locate. Electricals don’t work properly. Safety hazard - fan was loose and ceiling material was on bed after use. No hot water. Dirty rooms. Dirty towels. Dodgy location. Dodgy vibes.
