Governor's Green, located close to Colonial Williamsburg and other top attractions, is beautifully designed and landscaped on the outside, elegantly decorated on the inside, with a full activity menu to appeal to every generation. Wyndham Governor’s Green is three miles north of historic Williamsburg, in the heart of the Virginia Peninsula. Guests enjoy access to some of the best tourist attractions, historic buildings, museums, golf courses, restaurants and shops along the James River. This resort is beautifully designed and landscaped on the outside, and elegantly decorated on the inside. The well-manicured lawns and pristine lakes are the perfect setting to enjoy an endless list of on-site recreation activities and exceptional amenities. You will appreciate the privacy of separate bedrooms, the economy of a private kitchen, and the convenience of a washer/dryer in each suite. Plus, whirlpool tubs, full dining/living areas and TVs throughout are included to help maximize your comfort. Become immersed in history at The Living History Museum, where visitors experience the sights and sounds of 18th century Colonial America. Visit the famous Governor's Palace, Capitol Building and Courthouse, or enjoy a little shopping and dining at one of the local marketplaces, pubs and taverns. For bigger thrills, a visit to Water Country U.S.A.®, Busch Gardens®, Ripley's Believe It or Not!® Museum and 4D Theater will surely keep your spirits high. Wine connoisseurs love the taste of local full-bodied vintages at the Williamsburg Winery. Williamsburg is centrally located near Yorktown, Jamestown and the shimmering shores of Virginia Beach. Everything needed for a memorable getaway to historic Williamsburg is all here at Wyndham Governor's Green. The well-manicured lawns and pristine lakes are the perfect setting to enjoy an endless list of on-site recreation activities and exceptional amenities, including a day spa and resort activities program. Play a round of miniature golf, croquet or horseshoes, or challenge your friends to a friendly match at the tennis courts. If a day of splashing around and sunbathing are your thing, head out to one of the indoor or two outdoor swimming pools and hot tubs to relax, rejuvenate and unwind. Helpful Hints Daily housekeeping is not included and may be added for an additional fee. Some amenities/activities are seasonal and available at an additional charge. 01. Reservations must be in the name of someone at least 21 years of age (proper photo ID must be shown at check-in). Other guests need not be at least 21 years of age. 02. After booking, the name(s) (up to two) and addresses of who will be checking in must be provided prior to the guest's arrival. 03. Failure to provide reservation name(s) may result in the guest not being able to check-in when the guest arrives at the property. 04. Check-in / Check-out: 4 PM / 10 AM (unless otherwise specified) 05. A credit card pre-authorization or cash deposit will be required upon check-in. 06. Suites are assigned at check-in so location within the resort varies. We can have the reservation annotated for your preference and the resort staff will do their best to accommodate based on location availability. 07. We are not responsible for limited or no access to amenities due to government regulations, resort policy, discontinuation or maintenance. 08. Late Arrivals: Please notify the resort of your late arrival and check-in no later than 48 hours after your scheduled arrival date. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your reservation without notification. 09. Your safety is very important to us, so we closely follow local regulations for maximum occupancy per unit. 10. Out of respect for all our guests, pets are not permitted. Please feel free to contact the resort prior to your arrival so that we may assist you in locating a local boarding facility. 11. Service animals that are trained to work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability are welcome at all affiliated locations. 12. No smoking is allowed in the suite. Failure to comply may result in a fine. 13. Attending a seminar or presentation is not required as part of the booking. If you are made an offer to attend, you are under no obligation to do so.
