We were delighted with our stay at trunk Hotel Yoyogi Park.
It was ideally located close to Metro stations and to Yoyogi Park.
Everything in the hotel was spotlessly clean and although the rooms weren’t huge, everything was well thought out with plenty of space for storage so it it never felt cramped.
The rooftop bar and pool was perfect to have an early morning or evening swim.
Breakfast by the pool with a stunning view and great choice of dishes was the perfect way to start the day and it was good to have the option to eat either in the restaurant or rooftop bar on an evening.
Perhaps the best part of our stay were the staff who couldn’t have been more helpful, particularly George who went out of his way to chat to us and make great suggestions of how to spend our time.

We stayed here for 1 night - the last night of a 2 week trip for our honeymoon. It was a perfect close to the trip. Clean, modern, and a fantastic location as we ran around to pick up some souvenirs around Shibuya. We loved relaxing in the rooftop pool with a drink our final night. The location was also fantastic for a morning coffee before heading to the airport - with a few cute places like Supreme nearby. The staff was helpful and nice.
The only drawback is the room is rather small - especially with 4 suitcases. If we had stayed longer this may have been a drawback, but for our final night this was totally fine since the room was nice, clean, comfortable. If you can, worth upgrading to a larger room.
Overall, great experience and would recommend without hesitation for a short stay.

Fantastic Nordic-inspired hotel with impeccable attention to detail. Helpful and friendly staff. The hotel was so tranquil and peaceful and the rooftop pool made you feel you were anywhere but a busy city.

Amazing hotel!

Absolutely lovely stay here - gorgeous interiors, curated touches, and amazing staff. Felt like a 5-star hotel experience. Loved the rooftop pool and the restaurant/bar. Great location, obviously close to Yoyogi Park, but also cool cafes and bars. Only a 10 minute walk to the middle of Shibuya, but feels much calmer. Also smelled amazing - wish I could have taken that scent home with me. Highly recommend a stay here!

Best hotel in Tokyo!

Everything about this hotel is perfection. The design, the staff, the pool bar, the restaurant, the attention to detail, the neighborhood- everything. Thank you so much!

Beautiful rooftop. An oasis in Tokyo!

I stayed in the Owners suite for two nights and was really impressed with the property. Breakfast was lovely, and the overall vibe is hip and design forward. Spent a lot of time at the roof top pool. My one issue: the staff was helping to make some reservations during my stay. Somewhere didn’t have availability so I asked them to check for a few days later/ they told me they cannot help me with any bookings or recommendations beyond my check out date. While I understand the sentiment, I found this “rule” to be a bit silly and feel that it should be made on a case by case basis. Somewhere like Japan, as a solo traveler, you depend on the staff to help with these things. Otherwise, very happy.

Amazing, top to bottom.

Location sits between the congested hubs of Shinjuku and Shibuya, in a nice enclave that faces Yoyogi Park where Fuglen and Monocle Store also reside. You get the best of Tokyo without the overwhelming density. Rooms are not enormous, but generous by Tokyo standards given the thoughtful layout and very homely vibe. The design of the entire hotel is very top notch Japandi.
But the highlight of the hotel has got to be the roof top infinity pool and jacuzzi which is heated during the winter and is really a modern step up from outdoor onsens. Best part is - it’s served by a rooftop bar / cafe.
Service is friendly and impeccable, and language was definitely not an issue. Some of the staff are very international. Offered to help with the logistics of our cumbersome snowboard bags to/from our room.
Prices can be a little on the high side, but definitely worth the experience if you want to enjoy Tokyo but have something to look forward unwinding to after a busy day out and about.

Great experience overall. Friendly staff and cozy well designed room. Soaked in 6th floor hot tub every day. Wife loved the pj’s so much she bought a pair. Food and coffee were ok, not great. But there are excellent options nearby - Pignon for dinner and Fuglen for coffee.

Incredible room, staff, location and restaurant. The best stay!

This hotel was phenomenal! Cannot say enough about service, cleanliness, and amenities. Seems like hotel only has about 15-20 rooms, never had to wait to see any staff who all spoke English. Welcome drinks and egg tarts, water in the rooms with a snack left for you everyday. Roof top pool is heated with a fire pit and nice hot tub, all overlooking yoyogi park. 10/10 hands down.

Staff members and service was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant on first floor offers fine Italian cuisine at night we enjoyed it a lot. Heated pool on the top floor has a great view and nice vibe. Next to the yoyogi park is also a plus.
