In the heart of the Alpes-Maritimes, capturing spectacular 270-degree views of the Baous, Saint-Jeannet, Var Valley, Cap Ferret and Côte d’Azur, lies Villa Fiori, a historic flower farm turned stunning vacation home. Villa Fiori has the distinction of being the oldest residence in its immediate area, and its immaculate Provencal architecture and furnishings enliven its character and tell a story of flower production for the nearby Grasse perfumeries of a bygone era. The property is located in the premier walking, hiking, and cycling region just behind the Medieval walled city of Vence.
If you want to experience the best of what the French Riviera offers from an exquisite countryside home with a pastoral heartbeat, Villa Fiori will be a dream come true. Within easy reach of countless natural and cultural sites and attractions, its traditional stone walls harbor a simply elegant interior and overlook serene terraces that invite effortless outdoor living. You may never want to leave.
Villa Fiori is a beautifully restored period villa which includes a Main House that accommodates up to 6 guests (3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms) as well as a separate Apartment that accommodates 5 guests and is well-suited for a family with two to three children (3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom).
Both units offer a tasteful blend of modern and traditional furnishings set on an impeccable backdrop of original materials. Hand-laid masonry, artisanal tiling, exposed historic beams, cobblestone patios, and a signature terra cotta roof are among the features that transport guests back to an era rich in detail and craftsmanship. Today, where flowers once were tended, a sparkling heated saltwater swimming pool lies instead. Its generous dimensions of 46 x 16 feet (14 x 5 meters) make it ideal for both lap swimming and relaxing play with family or friends.
Villa Fiori’s cheerful shutters and plentiful windows and doorways beckon guests inside, offering innumerable glimpses of the surrounding vistas framed by quaint arches from within. Fresh white and light neutral walls and furnishings are accented with pastel blues and natural elements, drawing the eyes upward and fostering a timeless aura of spaciousness and peace.
The fully equipped Provencal-style kitchen offers a double entrance and allows culinary artistry to become a focal point of daily life as guests circulate to the outside terrace and pool area and back again. Guests can also enjoy the charcoal barbecue, lawn for boules and badminton, table tennis table, library, Netflix, French TV, board games, and children’s amenities.
Villa Fiori offers a wealth of on-site activities and amenities, all of which are available to guests. Spend the day swimming in the large heated pool, relaxing on the variety of picturesque patios and terraces with the Mediterranean Sea as your backdrop, cooking up mouth-watering delicacies in the gorgeous kitchen, or strolling the grounds and nearby walking and cycling trails where each mountain vista is more uplifting than the next.

Villa Fiori is a five-minute drive (or longer invigorating walk) from the delightful city of Vence. The city’s charm and vitality are showcased in each gallery, shop, museum, and boulangerie, and gastronomes will be elated by the heavenly array of bistros and fine restaurants, including Alain Llorca and the Abbey of St.-Martin. Top of the list is the world-famous Colombe d’Or, where guests can eat where the masters ate, view their original paintings, and learn how they used art to settle their bills.
St. Paul de Vence, the art capital of southern France, is just a fifteen-minute drive from Villa Fiori, and St.-Laurent-du-Var, Cagnes-sur-Mer, and Tourrettes-sur-Loup are also within easy reach (less than thirty minutes away by car).
Villa Fiori is perfect year-round, offering a different sampling of attractions and activities in every season. Festivals, markets, concerts, and art shows underpin life in the Vence region, which is also punctuated with standout events like the nearby Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco, football matches at the Allianz Stadium in Nice, the Cannes Film Festival, the Cannes Boat Show, and various world-class sporting events.
With a population of 30,000, Vence is a working historic city that embodies the ethos of the French Riviera while being just far enough removed from the throngs of sightseers to maintain its authentic charm and gentle pace of life. Just a twenty-five-minute drive from Antibes and Nice (and the Nice airport) and no more than an hour’s drive from numerous world-famous beaches and renowned beach clubs, its quaintly winding cobblestone streets, Medieval chapels, museums, and galleries, have captured the spirit of many a discerning traveler.
The Vence region is home to the great French and Spanish artists. Enamored with the quality of light, Picasso, Chagall, and Matisse all lived and painted here, and Matisse’s final work, The Chapelle du Rosaire de Vence, is located just three minutes from Villa Fiori. Because the Italian border is just an hour’s drive away, guests can lunch on the Italian Riviera and visit Ventimiglia and Sanremo or take in Monaco’s glamorous nightlife, casinos, and extraordinary cuisine.
