Bring your boat - there are 5 public boat launches, including a deep water launch, within 15 miles.
The Lodge is located on a spacious lot in a very small (20 or so homes) lakefront and secondary lakefront community. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet times are 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Ski, board, tube or hike Schweitzer, Idaho's largest ski resort, only 15 miles away.
Visit Silverwood Theme Park and Boulder Beach Water Park, 37 miles south.
Boat to Sandpoint City Beach, Hope, Whisky Rock or any of the other lakeside destinations available to you on the 90+ mile shoreline of Lake Pend Oreille.
BIG fishing is locally available - several fishing derbies take place each year.

Necessity shopping is 8 minutes away. Ponderay has Yokes Fresh Market, Walmart, North 40, as well as convenience food, an Idaho State Liquor Store, banking, fuel and a movie theater - Sandpoint Cinemas.
Enjoy Sandpoint and the surrounding areas by visiting one of its many premier restaurants such as The Hydra, Trinity's, Pearl's On the Lake, Baxter's on Cedar and many more. Looking for craft beer? Laughing Dog and MickDuff's are our favorite breweries and have the perfect atmosphere to visit while on your vacation. Town's own dive bar, the 219, hosts many nights of live music and well-poured drinks. Craving good pizza? The Icehouse Pizzeria serves the best pizza in all of Idaho!
The Lodge comfortably sleeps large families or groups of up to 16 people. The house itself offers much to explore, and each person in your party will have the space to enjoy their own little nook for relaxation. The wrap-around deck, well-furnished kitchen & propane BBQ set the scene for family dinners, best enjoyed around our huge wooden dining room table. The living room's oversized windows, wood fireplace and lake views top it all off. Ping-pong & board games in the game room downstairs make everything complete.
We can't wait to help you and your family make lifetime memories.
Some things to note:
The Lodge is located on a spacious lot in a very small (20 or so homes) lakefront and secondary lakefront community. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet times are 9 p.m. to 8 a.m.
The small community beach is privately owned and maintained by the neighborhood. The absolute maximum time allowed for any household to use the beach is 2 hours per day. We require and appreciate that our guests will honor this neighborhood rule. The beach is lovely, but small and it's important that in our usage we recognize the shared space as such.
Also, Wi-Fi and general cell service can be spotty here. While guests have access to the Wi-Fi, keep in mind that some days it may be very slow and not the best for working or streaming. We have many DVD choices available in the loft and in the center of the master suite dresser.
Lastly, parking is very limited. However, free parking is provided for up to 6 vehicles. There is no turnaround in the driveway so any towed trailers will have to be backed in or out.
We thank our future guests for their understanding of these rules and we look forward to hosting you!

This property was huge and had everything our extended family needed. We enjoyed the neighborhood and the view. Each household is only allowed to use the local beach for two hours a day, but that wasn’t much of an issue for us.

13 of us including 7 kids! We were all very comfortable and had a ton fun. The proximity to the private beach really topped things off.

This home includes a fully stocked kitchen and several bedrooms for a large family gathering. A very short walk to the beach and close to many activities. The price can’t be beat!

Overall the location and the house itself was beautiful, there was more than enough room in the house and the brisk walk to the lake was easy and fun. If you’re looking for a great vacation stay this would be one to get!

This was a great place to stay for the five families we had. It's a quiet neighborhood close to Ponderay and Sandpoint for any necessities. Easy to get there. The house has many working ammenities like Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating system, stocked kitchen, bbq and propane, ping pong table.
The communication with the host was excellent. The bathrooms were well-stocked.
We would have liked a TV in the living room. I only saw one in the master room.
