We enjoyed our stay immensely! The cottage was perfect with everything we needed and more with a beautiful covered deck with potted flowers with a beautiful view of the Fraser River and we saw the most spectacular sunsets while sitting around the campfire. We also met the resident crane, Ron, and a family of racoons. There is also a park and walking trails very near by. The hosts were amazing making us feel very welcome. They left treats for our dog and fresh farm eggs in the fridge. They also had a herb and vegetable garden that we were allowed to help ourselves to. We really appreciated these little touches. We will definitely stay there again when we are out that way again!
We appreciate you!

Check in instructions were simple and clear. The place is simply beautiful. All the little details were kept in mind. Hummingbirds and bunny rabbits, beautiful flowers with sunlight sparkling on the water made for a lovely view from inside and outside. The hammock so nice. The photos are great but in person is nicer. During our stay we had car trouble but the place and the caring gracious hosts somehow made it not seem so difficult. With their kind helpfulness we were able to attend our event and make it home safely. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

Our hosts were so thoughtful putting this quiet riverside cottage ready for VRBO stays like ours. It exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. We could get to anywhere we wanted to go in the greater Vancouver region, but we didn't have to stay amidst the hustle and bustle of typical locations. Here at the end of the private lane, you can unwind surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature.
You can lounge around out on the porch if you like. The sunsets are spectacular in this tidewater region of the Fraser River with ocaissional tug boats moving log rafts past you to the mills.
While you grill something out on the porch you can enjoy the sounds of the birds. There is an adirondack chair positioned right where you can watch the resident great blue heron that patrols the banks.
Inside the cottage is a compact arrangement of everything you need. Bathroom shower stall is equipped with both rainfall and telephone shower heads. Flat screen television with ROKU, internet access, Lexa, induction cooktop, microwave, coffee maker etc. We found the king size bed to be very comfortable, too!
Your hosts live just a stone's throw away in a floating community of 30 to 40 homes, each one unique to fit the style and character of its owner. A variety of boats, jet skis, kayaks, and canoes come and go. Several members of the Grant's Landing community were fishing for salmon off their decks during our one week stay at this Grant's Landing Cottage. It is truly a real gem!
