Historic and charming. A great way to transform an historical part of St. Catharines for the arts community into a boutique hotel.

Are room was very nice and big. Are king bed was very comfortable. Rodman Hall was very nice and clean. The only problem was are shower. The shower head is too high im 6ft my wife is 5'2 and it was extremely powerful....

A very beautiful property and rather unique accomodation. While highly recommended it is importamt to understand this is not a full service hotel.
Very much enjoyed our stay.

It’s an elegant old mansion and while the room was comfortable there were lots of odd quirks. The lighting in the rooms and bathrooms was poor. In addition there wasn’t any information about the property upon self check in, eg is there coffee in the am etc. also the outside lights were left on all night which streamed through the drapes making it difficult to sleep. It was an ok stay and quaint but I wouldn’t go rushing back.

Rodham Hall is a beautiful, stately manor that transports you back in time to the most elegant and beautiful finishes of the 19th century but with the modern conveniences of today.

It's heritage, kind of vintage. Would love to stay everytime

Absolutely beautiful, don't forget room 101, between Murdock Mysteries and Downton Abbey

Nice area. Central.

My wife and I visited Rodman Hall to attend a wedding in town. This is a very unique and special place. We were blown away by the attention to detail and care take to restore the property to its original 19th century look. Would highly recommend.

The room we got was smaller than what our pictures on expedia lead us to believe but we still gave it 5 stars as the property itself was amazing, inside and out. Things to know. Our room did have a toilet and sink but no shower. There was 2 community washrooms with showers. Our room 303 3rd floor front left corner of the property. Did have a mascerator connected to the plumbing. Whenever we flushed the toilet or ran the bathroom faucet in our room, it would make a crazy loud grinding noise. Scared the crap out of us and im sure it scared our neighbors too at 1am. That was our only issue with the property but we understood trying to make plumbing work in something built in 1856. Again amazing property. Don't hesitate to book.

Merritt Suite is lovely

The property is beautiful! The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the gardens are lovely. The building is very secure. I appreciated the continental breakfast each morning. There was no front desk or staff apart from the gentleman who laid out the breakfast. I would stay here again.
4.7
This is a beautifully renovated home that is a cornerstone of history for the area. The owner, Nino, gave us the grand tour and I do mean grand. Be sure to check out the history of Rodman Hall so before you go. There is no restaurant on the grounds, which are beautiful, but there are plenty downtown which is a short drive away.

Definitely not what I was expecting from the description of a boutique hotel. I was very surprised to find I was the only person at the property - no staff or other guests. I was given a key code for the front door and for my room. It was unnerving and creepy to be staying alone. The toiletries were bulk purchase from costco and there was a dodgy Keurig machine in a corner of a dining room that I found - not something I ended up trying.
The building itself was beautiful and the furnishings were nice, but the grounds are tired and need some love.
It could be a good place if you were hosting an event or for a group, but I would not recommend as a hotel.
4.7
Very expensive for not having any staff or real amenities. No information in the room on absolutely anything. A little creepy at night. One big old empty house. $400.00 not worth it.
4.7
Great place!
4.7
It was a lovely experience and beautiful restored property. I would have loved if they had the option of coffee in the room or nearby in the lobby.
4.7
They upgraded the room for free my wedding night. Checking in is as simple as getting an email and putting in a door code.
4.7
It is quiet and comfortable place for a couple.
4.7
The location and building and rooms themselves are unique and special. The servicing less so - no front desk, so you rely on virtual support staff, and, while friendly, they did not deliver on critically reassuring info such as building and room passcodes until after the admittance time, and only by our renewed request, via cell, at the site. Too late! No bar fridge, and no good info on site amenities ahead of time. That said, a beautifully restored historic building with unique character - just needs better support.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful.

Highly recommend to stay

It was a very unique hotel. Lots of history. Beautiful space beautiful rooms and grounds. No staff other than the cleaning staff who were great! But the instructions were very clear and sent to you the day before.
Only thing is not all the rooms have washrooms some need to share. If mobility is an issue make sure to book on the main floor, no elevator we were on the 3rd floor and both of us are in pretty good shape but found it a bit difficult with luggage and bags.
Wedding venue is gorgeous and staff were great for the venue and bar space. Good food.
4.7
The Inn and property are beautiful and in excellent condition. It's location near a path to downtown St. Catharine, where we had tickets to a show that was a pleasant walk away, was a big plus. We loved the historic features of the Inn - high ceilings, wide staircases, fireplaces - yet perfectly added washrooms, lighting, etc.
4.7
The hotel is a beautiful unique historic property, with a great walking trail at the back to take you down to the river.
We stayed in the Shickluna Suite on the ground floor. The room was spacious and well maintained.
Minor note regarding room: The left drape runner was/is stuck.

We stayed in the 104 Cottage and everything was perfect! Clean place, lovely decor, very private and romantic. Overall great stay!
4.7
I’m shocked that a place that expensive does not have a shower/tub in the bedroom. It’s a common area for everyone on the floor to share the shower. It does not say this anywhere in the listing for the room. For $260 a night I would expect to at least know this. The photos I saw, also made the room look much larger.
The actual venue is beautiful. Stained glass, chandeliers, very unique. We attended a wedding and the food was incredible. Just shocked about the common area shower. Also the toilet in the room when flushing sounds like you are on an airplane and it’s about to break any second. That was great for using it in the middle of the night.
4.7
The hotel was unique and beautiful.
We really enjoyed our stay but we found the bed was a little uncomfortable.
4.7
It is like staying in a castle. A beautifully restored home; estate.

This is an incredible place to stay! The home is a beautiful historic wonder, and very accommodating. Large rooms and very nice modernized baths. I had a wonderful visit, and will return with my wife and family.

We stayed in cottage #104 which was very private, quite, clean and a great size!

A beautiful property with friendly staff. They even made breakfast in the morning which we werent expecting. The room was incredible as well.

Absolutely beautiful spot, clean, convenient location to downtown (dining/entertainment) and gorgeous property. Check in was easy and efficient, our room was beautifully decorated and spotless clean. Breakfast was amazing, everything was fresh and delicious. We had fun exploring the hotel, it’s really splendid the artwork, stained glass, light fixtures etc. I can’t remember the last time I’ve enjoyed a weekend away so much or had such a pleasant experience with a hotel. We look forward to staying again!

Beautiful property, unique rooms and absolutely gorgeous building. The breakfast was amazing as well. Will definitely stay again!

Lots of character. Very close to downtown St. Kits. Was walking distance to restaurants and meridian centre. The only downside is that you are sharing your bathroom - 2 bathrooms for 4 rooms.
Did not appreciate not being able to pay onsite and flexibility of changing the booking.
