This was the perfect place to stay for a quick anniversary getaway weekend. The property is decorated so cute and there were so many charming details. We loved the Nespresso machine, fluffy robes and ambiance lighting. Even though it is just downstairs from the owners, it felt very private. You can hear people walking around upstairs, but only if it's completely quiet otherwise. I only noticed it in the morning when first waking up. We had a blast in Staunton and it was nice to be able to walk into town (as long as you don't mind hills!) We also went to St. Mary's falls which was an amazing hike 20 minutes away. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay again in the future.

We stayed here for the QCMM Harry Potter weekend and could not have asked for a better place to stay! It felt like we were walking into the Weasley’s guest house (& I say that in the best possible way). The eclectic styling of the VRBO was so well done and made it such a fun place to stay. It’s well stocked, clean and comfortable. Couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended!

This apartment is just like Staunton -- charming with fun and interesting details everywhere. It's just as nice as the pictures and description make it look. I thought the bed was going to be too soft, then got the best night's sleep I've had while traveling.
I love relaxing and recharging with an afternoon cup of coffee. After our morning adventures and lunch, instead of going a coffee shop, we came home to the coffee station in the apartment. Rested and charged up with coffee treats, we were ready for more exploring, dinner, and live music.
It does earn its hideaway name by being around the corner and down and up stairs. I'm not so nimble and had no trouble. The reward is privacy and a deck sitting area where you can enjoy the mountain air. I'd stay and again and suspect it won't be easy to find an opening on the schedule, once folks discover the hideaway getaway.
