About this house rental
Just a few blocks from La Jolla Shores, Sandy Shores, features lots of outdoor space with two bedroom and a shared bath. Enjoy other delightful features like a living area with a fireplace and flat screen TV, fully equipped kitchen, dining area and hardwood floors throughout. For your convenience, the home has a laundry area, complimentary high-speed internet, beach equipment and more! You’ll enjoy spending as much time indoors as outdoors with a patio and back patio surrounded by fruit trees and landscaping. Best of all, the beach, parks, shops and restaurants are a short walk.
This spacious room features a comfy sofa and coffee table, across from the long wooden entertainment center, under the large Flat Screen TV with Full Cable. Two matching armchairs and end tables frame the wood-burning Fireplace, while long windows on each wall let the sunlight pour in. Opposite the Fireplace, near the entrance of this open space, is a beautiful long wood table with seating for 8.
The bright, Eat-In Kitchen features plenty of counter space and large windows with views of the Front Patio. The kitchen is equipped with Stainless Steel appliances, including a side-by-side refrigerator and freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, coffee maker, and a double basin sink.
The First Bedroom features a queen bed, fitted and matching bedside tables with lamps and an alarm clock, surrounded by large windows boasting luscious views of the yard. Across from the bed is a full-sized dresser and a TV with full cable. The bathroom, conveniently located off the hall between the two bedrooms, features a modern sink fixture with a mirror and a Shower and Tub.
The Second Bedroom features a queen bed with nightstand and reading lamp. A large closet and full-sized dresser provide ample storage space, while large windows and a ceiling fan keep this space bright. This room also features direct access to the back patio.
Located just off of the kitchen, there is a bonus room garage that can be used for overflow sleeping on 2 twin beds. The home has a large window, ceiling fan, and a writing desk with chair.
This home also includes parking for one car in the driveway as well as street parking.

We absolutely loved our stay in your home. Thankful for the extras included and outstanding attention to our needs. Management were wonderful and so kind to work with us. The property was so comfortable in a quiet area with ample parking and ease of getting to the beach. The beach chairs and wagon were a huge bonus for us. We hope to be able to stay with you again.

Location was good to get to beach and La Jolla shores but road noise was rough at night with no ac. We had to keep windows open so no way to minimize road noise from busy nearby street ventilation in home not great so hard to cool down house. I overlooked the fact there was no ac so will be more carful to review this detail in the future Could not use extra room that was garage due to no ventilation at all

We really enjoyed our stay in La Jolla and loved how close we were to La Jolla Shores + Avenida De La Playa. The home is comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed being able to relax in the outdoor patios in the evenings. Unfortunately, there were a few aspects of the arrangement of the house that were concerning. One of the bedrooms is set up in a hastily converted garage. It is poorly ventilated and did not have a window. The parking situation was exceptionally poor as residents are expected to drive up and over a curb to park in a gravel space between the road and the sidewalk. Our poor car couldn't do this without scrapes and bumps to the bumpers and undercarriage. Previously, residents took advantage of the neighbors driveway to pull into this spot but they had planted hedges to block this the day we arrived. While this was out of the control of the home's hosts, it was a gross oversight that should be amended if this is the expected set-up in the future. Based on the pictures, it appears as though the home has driveway space which is what we expected but that is apparently reserved for the connecting town home. While we didn't use our car much, it was a needless stressor for us.

Such a magical beach bungalo! with the beach 2 blocks away, with amazing sunsets.Also coffee shops and reastaurants down the way. My husband and our pups will for sure be back cant wait!!Thank you again.

Proximity to beach and other amenities was just as described. Parked the car for our three day stay and didn’t move it once except to visit local family members.

We stayed here for 7 nights and we were very comfortable. The kitchen is set up well for home cooking, the house had plenty of linens, the yard is well kept, the walk to the beach is extremely short and lovely, and, this place was out-of-this-world clean. Every corner.
We would definitely stay here again!

La Jolla shores is always our go-to vacation spot in San Diego. It’s quiet, walkable and convenient! This place has plenty of space for our family of three. It was two blocks to the beach and had some green space for our one year old to toddle around in! Kitchen had everything we needed to make most meals at home. As others mentioned, this is on the corner of a main road so when you have the windows open you can hear traffic but it was not a deal breaker by any means. Great spot and would stay again next year!

We just stayed in January for 5 nights. The house worked perfectly for us. It was only 2 short blocks to the beach. Had a nice yard for hanging out too. Great value for such a good location. Comfy beds. Well equipped. We had an issue with the heating system and management, impressively, responded right away. Walking distance to several restaurants. And a lovely walk up the coastal path along the cliffs to La Jolla. Parking space is accessed off La Jolla Shores Drive. That street has some traffic and road noise during the day but is pretty quiet at night. The bonus room is the former garage finished off and does not have heat or operable windows so we did not use that space but did not need it. I would highly recommend and hope to stay there again.

My husband and I with our 4 kids ranging in age from 7 months to 9 years old enjoyed a fun-filled week here! The house is just a couple blocks to the beach - walking distance, and also very close to a couple of casual restaurants, Starbucks, a Cafe/market, & gas station. It is also only about 7 minutes to a very nice area of La Jolla Shores with many nice restaurants, shops, a grocery store, and the famous La Jolla cove sea lions. It's no more than 15-20 minutes to many of the fun sites around San Diego, and we found it to be all in all a great location & home base.
The large beach down the street has lifeguards and restrooms, good surfing waves, good boogie boarding waves, but also great shallow waves our kids loved to jump and wade in for hours.
The home was outfitted with most everything we needed for the beach - towels, buckets/play things, chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and a couple of boogie boards. The only other thing that would have been great would be a beach wagon.
Everything was as described in the listing. Clean. The kitchen had all of the basic necessities. The beds were soft. The water pressure was great and never short of hot water. There is no a/c but we didn't need it.
The home is located just off a fairly busy street or main thoroughfare through that neighborhood and was noisy at night. We brought sound machines for the kids, so they were not bothered by it.
We would recommend this area and this unit and would readily stay there again!
