About this house rental

Escape into natural serenity with this beautifully renovated 1-bedroom ( 3 total beds), 2-bathroom, 1,600 sqft space in Excelsior, nestled adjacent to picturesque Lake Minnewashta Park. Immerse yourself in the wonders of nature while enjoying modern comforts. Experience ultimate relaxation with a sleep number bed, rejuvenating rain showers, and bidet toilets. The fully equipped kitchen & wet bar make dining a delight.

Window a/c & ceiling fan for cooling. Space is part of a duplex/two family home - this is the walkout level unit. Numerous layers of noise barrier between units for ultimate quiet & privacy. Home is at the end of a private street with direct access to Lake Minnewashta Regional Park which hosts trails, swimming, park, and more. 2-5 minute drive to nearest stores & downtown Excelsior which hosts restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and access to Lake Minnetonka.

The most beautiful sunsets are visible throughout the space & yard. We have an array of wildlife that roams the yard such as crane, turkey, deer. Evening exterior light is kept to a minimum so as not to disturb views of stars & reduce disruption of wildlife. We are a pet-free, smoke free household.

**PLEASE NOTE - We do currently (10/28-11/15) have a couple of exterior projects underway that may cause for some disturbances during stay. Our most sincere apologies & thank you for your understanding

Cozy lower level stay, clean & equipped with very nice appliances, very comfortable king size bed, etc. It was nice to be tucked away in the woods a bit but still within a few miles of anything you could need. Great story of the history of the home. My only recommendation would be a little comfier chairs for lounging outside, otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay & the hosts recommended many local eateries and activities nearby which was very nice as well. Will definitely be back if ever in the area.

This property makes you feel like you’re in the country but you are just a mile or so from anything you could possibly want. The lower unit of the house was our temporary home while we attended a wedding at the Arboretum nearby. It was just what we needed and was very welcoming. The owners, who live upstairs, had provided snacks and drinks for our arrival and all amenities were top notch including the Dyson hair dryer and sleep number bed. We greatly enjoyed our stay.
