Very welcoming and warm staff with great services, but the whole place needs a big and deep clean

The staff at Bonfire are very helpful and talkative and they offer a great program of yoga and classes to all visitors. I slept very well and the bedroom was nice and spacious. I arrived earlier than my check in time and they were very accommodating where it was feasible.

- The first room I was allocated was really dirty. There was mould on the sheets, pillowcases, duvet, walls and inside the fridge and the surfaces seemingly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. After some negotiation I was then given a different room that was a massive improvement. - The WiFi signal didn't reach my room - They have an amazing roof terrace, but not many shaded areas to sit - The pillows are comfortable, but they need to buy some new ones as they are quite unpleasant under the pillowcases

Best Group Experience with Best Hospitality kon

The ambiance is super chill. The hosts were super helpful. We were group of 10 and the pool experience was just amazing. They do BBQ at the pool in evening which made our stay more beautiful. The rooms were big as in pictures and the view was awesome. Overall a wonderful experience. Keep it rollin guys.

Awesome Pool with BBQ

The hostel was clean and most comfortable beds we slept in India so far. They have a beautiful swimming pool area and they even do BBQ there which was a nice touch in summer days of India. Overall best experience of Rishikesh.

Couldn’t say bye to owner as he was out for work. See you soon!

This hostel has everything

Bonfire is the best place to stay in rishikesh.the hospitality is exceptional and the owners are very welcoming and always happy to help you and make you feel like a home.they organize free beach yoga class , bollywood nights for free. The swimming pool area is the best part of hostel . The hostel is a super chill place .food is amazing ,delicious bbq . Anyways great stay in bonfire hostels

N/A We are 12 friends here for a birthday party but the hostel doesn't allow us to play music after 11 pm. I understand they had to take care of all the other guests as well and cant compromise the policies Best place and will come back with family

Best hostel with best host

Its my second visit in bonfire and the Hostel has same family vibes . The rooms are spacious ,comfy beds and the free yoga with sunrise is the best thing this hostel had . I was lucky to be the first one to enjoy the swimming pool and jacuzi the view is mesmerising .cafe and food is amazing .

Not safe and not able to sleep until 2am, please avoid...

Location is good, a bit of walk from main road, but to me it is fine. Room is not in perfect condition but ok for the price.

Could not sleep the two nights we stayed before 2 in the morning, because of the party on the roof top where people were drinking and more... After the first night, the staff told me it would not be the case the second night, but in fact he did not care, just ignored the calls and preferred having a party. It is also unsafe to be close to 10+ people under the influence of drinks and more, including syringe next day on the floor... Staff did not care, not managed at all. When leaving the hotel, I had a discussion with the manager, he told me he could not handle the situation that was out of his control. For safety and comfort reason, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. He also admitted it was like this every weekend... UPDATE to answer your reply: Wow, I love your answer. It is very creative and smart to change the whole story, you genius. We were a group of 3, all wanted to sleep. However, first night there was noise from one member of the staff and a British couple. Following this, we had a discussion in the morning and you swear no music the Saturday night. But of course it was noisy again. I called the staff on WhatsApp, and he said he would stop in 5min. He did not. I went pissed off at 1:30 on the roof top to ask to stop the party, I could see 10 to 15 people drinking, all Indians and the British couple again. They left 30mins later. Next morning the staff was all sorry and admitted not being able to make people leave. Regarding the payment, I complained and we agreed that I would pay half, which I did and I have my bank UPI receipt if you want to see it. Attached to this review for your own pleasure.

Great social space

The hostel was away from the main street with peacefull environment. We stayed in a hostel down road but this was way better. They gave free yoga classes and their rooftop was a great socializing spot.Overall Great ambience and comfortable beds. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Best place and environment

This hostel has the best yoga morning session. They give free yoga classes everyday which is so amazing in Yoga capital of the world where we have to pay $10 for a drop-in class. Cheers to your amazing initiative. Keep doing good work guys!

This place is super cool. Especially the host Ayush is fire, he is always available. They have a cool rooftop Cafe and try their pizza and snacks. Overall a fantastic stay with feeling of home.

Decent value and friendly owner

The WiFi is very good and the shower has hot water. The bed was comfortable and the hotel is well located. The owner is very friendly and happy to help with anything you need.

The cleanliness could be improved. Not a negative per se but the pool and restaurant are still being completed and are not available yet.

Fun hotel/hostel in Upper Tapovan! We only intended to stay here for a few days but stayed for nearly three weeks. The owners, Ayush and Akki, are incredibly friendly and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. They offer laundry service, free yoga classes, and an affordable breakfast option for only 100 rupees. They even had their auntie cook us a special homemade breakfast one morning, which was absolutely delicious. We feel like we've made lifelong friends here and will return the next time we're in Tapovan.

AMAZING. CONFORT. GOOD SLEEP. GOOD INTERNET. GOOD EVERYTHING.

I loved everything since the first moment we met Ayush and Akshit, the owners. Never met such caring people. They do whatever they can to make your staying amazing. The rooms are the best, the shower its hot, the got the BEST internet on Rishikesh. They offer FREE YOGA classes all morning. They take care of your laundry. They help you getting delivery foods at night. They are making and amazing area on the rooftop. There is nothing REALLY to say negative about there. If you go to any hotel on DOWN tapovan the horns and dog's barking will annoy your night,, but on BONFIRE that is on UPPER tapovan you will experience the best sleeping night possible. They mattress are amazing, the sheets, pillows.. everything, and the people are the best.

There is nothing i didnt like AT ALL, like ai said before, they make all the can to make your staying the best.

Home from home with a beautiful family

I loved the stay here at bonfire and I’m using this place as my home from home with my partner. We’ve stayed here multiple times now and we’ve become like family with ayush and Aki and some of the guests. The hospitality is beautiful. We’ve been enjoying free yoga on the rooftop and myself and my partner have even put on a yoga/breathwork workshop this morning. We really enjoy this place and highly recommend. Happy happy.

PERFECT HOSTEL with the best WFH experience !

This place has the best WiFi which is too good for WFH. Initially booked for one day ended up staying for 20 days. They give free filter water refills and free morning tea was another plus. Ayush is the best host I ever crossed. Bonfire is my new home and a perfect place for work from home. Keep it up guys! See you guys very soon.
