Overall a comfortable stay with plenty of space. We enjoyed the kitchen, dining and living spaces. Nice to have a wood fireplace to take the chill out. Property has easy parking and large yard with outdoor space. Property is about 2 miles from downtown Kenmare, road to property very narrow. The property was not very clean; dirty microwave, toilet, lots of cobwebs, as well as food left in freezer/cupboards, missing press for coffee maker and missing lint trap in dryer (making everything very linty and eating any socks, small garments).

We really enjoyed our stay at Oak Wood House. The desciption of the house and the location were bang on. It was very clean and comfortable and we loved the tea/coffee and applepie to welcome us. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. Close to lovely Kenmare, ring of Kerry/Beara and Killarney National Park. We would highly recommend staying here.
