This enchanting 4BR, 2BA home boasts lakefront charm on Cape Meares Lake, with the sandy embrace of Cape Meares Beach just two blocks away. Freshly renovated to preserve its beloved features, the retreat offers a spacious kitchen, dining area, and a game room on the entry floor—ideal for those preferring fewer stairs. Upstairs, relish in a cozy living space, two bedrooms, and three sitting rooms, perfect for literary escapes and playful bonding. Revel in breathtaking lake views and witness nature's tranquility from every room. Your peaceful haven awaits.
Access code will be released after the secure guest portal verification is completed and the stay is 24 hours away. Guests have the entire property to themselves.
Cape Meares is home to a variety of wildlife.
Elk, bear, deer and many species of birds
are found in this unique coastal setting. Parts of Cape Meares and nearby Three Arch Rocks are National Wildlife Refuges. From April through
July, the steep cliffs and offshore rocks are nesting sites for thousands of seabirds, including common murres, pelagic and Brandt’s cormorants and pigeon guillemots. Peregrine falcons occasionally nest on the
cliffs in the spring.
Cape Meares State Scenic Viewpoint is a prime location for whale watching. Migrating whales may be seen from December to January as they head south to calving grounds in Mexico and again March to April as they head north to Alaska. Volunteers help visitors spot whales during designated whale watching weeks in December and March. A population of about 200–400 whales feeds along the Oregon coast throughout the summer. Other marine mammals such as sea lions, dolphins
and porpoise may be seen from Cape Meares’ excellent viewpoints.
*This beach house is available as a short term rental by virtue of Tillamook County. This permit is placed in jeopardy when the surrounding neighborhood is impacted by a guest's stay. We issue $250.00 fines for each violation of County Ordinances and each House Rule (this is your warning). Additionally, guests may be evicted for violations without refund. If actions of our guests lead to neighbor complaints or our permit being placed on probation or revocation, we hold guests responsible for all damages foreseen and unforeseen. In booking this property you accept all of these terms.
**We require guests to visit our secure guest screening portal through Autohost, for identity verification and fraud protection before their reservation is considered finalized. You will need a government ID and the credit card you booked with. The process will take approximately 3 minutes to complete. This process is not uncommon and is akin to staying at any hotel in the world. We loved the location and the access to so many fun things to do. From the lovely view at the home, to the short walk to the ocean, to the many games available; this was a great place to vacation. It was also a very nice jumping off point for our outdoor adventures. The home was well equipped for all our needs and we really enjoyed our stay
