This is our 15th trip with friends to SGI. We miss booking with RVP. Vacasa isn’t the same level of service. First, we couldn’t get into house until 6pm. Cleaners were still working when we pulled up at 4pm. No one let us know ahead of time. Had small kids and cold groceries in the car. Lots of gates - good if you have dogs or kids. Watch for dog poo in the grassy area. Hot tub isn’t covered from rain - you will get wet from deck above. There’s a golf cart and beach gear in closet under house. There’s beach towels and games/puzzles under the tv, also another game closet upstairs. Not a ton of fridge space and fridge froze many groceries. Ice maker present but not super effective, you’ll need to buy extra ice. Small drink fridge in laundry room upstairs. No whisk, measuring implements and minimal pots if you plan to cook. We didn’t have any insect issues. Some members of our party experienced allergy issues while there - perhaps bc of previous pets allowed. Decks do not provide any shade - we hung hammocks under the pavilion by pool which was nice. Need wasp sprays - we knocked down a few nests. Plenty of pool toys available. Pool and hot tub were clean during our stay. AC was very effective and seatings/beds were comfy! Great views of ocean. Two outdoor heaters if you’re there in winter.

The outside spaces at this home were top notch. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck and the pool area. Furniture in the home was beautiful and appeared to be new. Thank you so much for a terrific vacation.

Great to be just steps away from the beach!
Pool was nice and we used it every day, several times a day! Cleaning crew came on our last day, but wish it had been earlier in our week.
The deck furniture was awesome and we enjoyed sitting outside all week long.
Loved the grass space for the small children to play in and enjoyed the small sandbox areas also.
Great location on the island.

Wow: awesome house. 4 large bedrooms facing the water is rare - noone had to fight over what room looked over the water
The fenced in/irrigated backyard was heaven for the dogs and wonderful for dog mommas who could let them out the door, and relax
Plenty of Parking. Nice balconies and chairs and view, and pool. Pool is amazing
It would be hard to choose any other property going forward, if this one is available
Don't forget that you as a renter need to stay on East/West Gorrie so you can be on the golf cart path. Half the fun is renting a golf cart and putting around the island

The house was beautiful!!! Spacious and renovated, however, there were some small hiccups. When we arrived, there was a garbage can inside the house full of garbage and a dirty rag on that floor, no big deal. However, the bunk bed room had an icky chocolate look like stain, in not so many words, on the mattress cover. Also, by the end of ten first night we noticed the AC on the kitchen /bunk bed side was not uworking. They e

This is a beautiful home in a fantastic location with great amenities - nice kitchen, comfortable beds, paved parking, private beach path, grass yard, hot tub, pool, covered pavilion, etc. WiFi was challenging when everyone was in the house particularly upstairs - hoping SGI WiFi continues to improve

The house is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views both day and night. We loved the easy access to the beach especially for our grandchildren who are toddlers. The private pool was an added bonus and again proved to be very beneficial for splitting beach time and pool time for our little ones. We noticed that the owner appears to be in the process replacing the wood decking and updating it with Trex decking boards which will be a very nice addition once completed.
As for dealing with Vacasa we had great communication from booking to checkout just like you would hope for with booking agency.
Overall this is fantastic rental reasonably priced and we definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for a layback semi- private beach experience. We are already planning on returning and looking forward to our 2025 family beach trip.

St George Island is very nice and the beach is beautiful. Tnis house has a very nice location on the beach. That being said the house is not well maintained and would probably never pass inspection. The appliances are old and fragile. The stope top has absolutely no venting and fumes accumulate in the house. Cubbard space leaves no room for food and the pantry has been turned into a storage closet full of mostly junk. There were some roaches in the house and the cleaning prior to arrival was minimal. The outside grill was non functional and was never repaired while we were there for 3 weeks despite our complaints. I could go on but all in all not a good experience
