About this chalet rental

As you walk up stairs passing native boulders and trees, you see an A-frame cabin in the woods begin to peek out, inviting you. Once upon the front deck, the large pane windows draw you into this spacious, high-ceiling, open-concept cabin. Inside, these same windows that drew you in, will encourage the same gazing now, except outwardly. Comfortable, tastefully designed and relaxing, you may not want to leave, though Santa's Village/SkyPark, Big Bear, and Lake Arrowhead all beckon outside...
This pet-friendly, open floorplan retreat, joins living room to dining bar, and dining bar to kitchen seamlessly, encouraging interaction, conversation and is ideal for hosting and entertaining.
The kitchen is fully-stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, an airfryer, a blender, and of course flatware and cutlery. There's a Keurig with K-cups for your morning coffees, including decaf options and an electric tea pot as well.
The WiFi is excellent and so therefore perfect for the WFH crowd and digital nomads alike.
The bedroom downstairs features a king-size bed with high-quality egyptian cotton linen and feather pillows (as well as hypoallergenic cotton).
The upstairs loft overlooks the common spaces below and has a queen-size bed. Behind its farmstyle closet doors is where the washer/dryer are located.
The backyard is rustically framed by draping bistro lights and equipped with a propane BBQ grill, propane firepit, small seating area, and tables for your convenience and perhaps even some al-fresco dining.
You will have full access to the entire property and all its amenities during your stay.
Beneath the spiral staircase, there's a variety of boardgames stowed away in the top drawer.
For outside activities we have cornhole as well as toboggans/snow sleds for your use should there be snow (please be careful with choice of toboggan runs/slopes and adjust for individual weight--always having someone at the bottom of the run initially to slow/stop your momentum).
We've also provided two camping cots for lazing or stargazing in the backyard (or for additional sleepers/sleeping areas inside). We just ask that you use close attention when opening and assembling them and be sure to repack it away after use.
If at any time you may have any questions or may need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out as our goal is that your stay is as pleasant as possible.
• 10 minutes drive to Skypark Santa's Village
• 13 minutes drive to Lake Arrowhead Village
• 15 minutes drive to Snow Valley Ski Resort
• 25 minutes drive to Big Bear

Located in the San Bernardino mountains right within the heart of quaint mountain town Running Springs, the cabin is nestled in the very quiet and private Nordic tract, close to Santa's Village/SkyPark, Lake Arrowhead, and Big Bear.

Aside from local strolls in the surrounding residential streets or jaunts to the local hiking trails, for the most part, vehicle transportation would be ideal for trips to the stores or restaurants. As mountain properties go, the driveway is extremely sloped and should be approached accordingly. The driveway, right out front of the property accommodates 2 cars. Additional vehicles may park on the street, but not overnight.
This cozy mountain cabin is heated by a wall heater adjacent to the front door (the thermostat is set behind the spiral staircase) and also does have the added option of a wood furnace. Portable space heaters are also available for use anywhere in the cabin and sleeping areas as well. Use caution and careful consideration for safe operation, ensuring persons and property are not in too close of a proximity.
1-night stays are sometimes possible; please feel free to send a message if your requested date(s) and/or length of are not listed and we will try our best to accommodate.
Hot tub/jacuzzi: Currently we have a temporary inflatable 4-person hot tub in the backyard. Guest favorite!
"DB Method" workout machine is available for use.
Babysitter and dog walking may also be available with a nominal fee upon request. Please inquire if you’re interested.

We stayed here as a mom’s getaway weekend and had an amazing time! Every detail of the cabin is well thought out, from the little branded stickers on the paper towels, to trendy record player with records to play. The inside is decorated very cute and a little modern too. The owner was great and provided great communication. She even provided some yummy snacks for us. We had a great time and would highly recommend this property.

We loved our stay at the beautiful cabin. It's very central on the mountain - close to food, shops, and what we were there for which was Snow Valley Ski Resort. Literally like 10 minutes away. The cabin is so cute, was super clean, and the host, Stephanie, was very attentive since before we arrived. We would definitely go back! Loved it.

It was aptly described and I felt an immediate sense of discovery, adventure all at once and later on peace, and grounding, and reflection... I enjoyed just lounging around and relaxing and enjoying the ambience and amenities. I checked out the quaint little town, enjoyed sitting at the diner bar at the Old Country Coffee Shop and did some thrift shopping (haven't really done so before and I don't know if it's a Running Springs thing, but found some really cool things for pennies on the dollar!) I went to Lake Arrowhead for dinner and drinks (can't recall the name) but it was beautiful and had view of the lake.
