Villa Lattermann is located on a very quiet village street that leads to the Sachsengrund district and no further there, except on foot into the endless forests.
The property is a listed resort architecture villa - a Wolgast villa, which can actually only be found in the German coastal regions. It was built around 1900 by an ironworks owner - Mr. Lattermann, who shaped the entire Morgenröthe district with his company. Directly opposite the villa there is a historic blast furnace that is used for museum purposes and one of the bells produced there that can be made to ring. The house has both architectural and historical value for the region.
Enjoy the sunny, extensive, unobstructed view from the original window glass, the warmth of the tiled stove, the scent of fresh forest air, the sound of the Pyra right next to the street, sink into soft armchairs and put your feet up, retreat In the winter garden or the window niche with a panoramic view with a tea or coffee, go for a short walk along the romantic moats that used to be used by the ironworks. Explore the ridge path or get on the cross-country ski trails in Sachsengrund. The air and space museum in Rautenkranz looks forward to your visit, or the local bakery with its fragrant morning offerings. Dare to refresh yourself at or in Lake Vogtland, you won't be able to see or feel full.
