This was our first trip to San Pedro Belize. Bananas on the Beach was super clean and comfortable. They offered cart rental there at the resort. It was my husband’s birthday and they even decorated the room. The beachfront room was perfect for our stay in San Pedro. All of the employees were very accommodating and gave great recommendations. The hotel was close to great food and markets with beach access and amazing views. I highly recommend Bananas on the beach!

Very clean , nice , and modern ! We had Golf Cart so we drove to restaurants for food and walked along beach to Alaia Bar to grab pizza pie . Hotel was very nice ! But area I believe is new and still being built up so not as many accessible food spots in walking distance , Golf Cart recommended. Manager was very sweet and a lot of help and went out her way to ensure we enjoyed our Anniversary!! Believe her name was Melanie !! Wanted shower hotter and she sent maintenance in minutes and they turned heater up in seconds . Beautiful and affordable resort ! Two pools and great place to stay with the family that’s clean and safe

My husband and I had a great experience while staying at bananas on the beach. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The property appears to be new very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The pools were great as well. It was not crowded or too busy. There was a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely return to this property. Tiffany and Alexis were great courteous and customer oriented. Security was warm and inviting and caring as well.

This is a great place to stay if you are not into the pool lounging scene. They have two nice pools but they are located in the middle of the hotel. We didn’t mind at all they are kept very clean. The property is newly renovated and has a nice modern look and feel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bed was excellent! They have nice WiFi flat screens so you can watch whatever you watch at home if that is your thing. There is not a beach but they have a sea wall with a nice beach landing out front and there is a pier you can swim off if you want. There is a nice little bar in the courtyard that has good happy hour deals. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They golf cart parking is nice right in the back of the hotel and is paved and has security so you don’t have to worry. I have traveled all over the Caribbean and I will say this is one of the nicest places I have stayed! They are priced perfectly!

Stayed here for 2 nights this past week. Literally booked our trip the week of our arrival. Hotel itself is very easily to find. Lots of gocart parking right outside. Front desk staff as well as the security outside were always friendly. It rained a bit during our stay so we woke up on the first morning to a leaking ceiling. We were promptly moved to another room when we notified the staff (although room itself was a slight downgrade from the first one..ocean view was a tad further and bathroom was much smaller). The first room also had lukewarm shower water which I think might be a fluke given that they had recently renovated the hotel. Overall, the hotel was comfortable and served our needs. Pricing was very reasonable. There are two pools and a bar on the premises for people to use as well.

This property is beautiful pretty new smelled amazingly clean could use a bar at the pool, some cushions on the pool loungers and a restaurant. The place was clean and the beds are incredible. Alexis at the front desk is awesome, will help you with anything, security guards were always on property. Also need more decor in outdoor pool and beach areas as well as additional seating areas. Would definitely recommend

We did just a short overnight trip on San Pedro from our stay in Caye Caulker. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating! The property is beautiful, clean, and quiet (July). We really did not want to leave the comfort of the bed, but we got some recommendations from staff and had a wonderful beach day and meals out in town. Absolutely recommend!

The room was small and clean and right near the beach. Perfect for what we needed. I would only recommend that a small room safe was in the room so we would not have to carry our passports on excursions and dinner.

This is a newer property right on the beach. Modern and clean very comfortable beds. It’s more of a condo style which made our stay very comfortable. It’s quiet and not very crowded which is exactly what we were looking for.

The rooms are newly renovated, but there is no light for the kitchen! There is a stovetop, but no pans, just one fry pan. Very little closet space and the bedroom is so small the king bed had to be against one wall. Tiny coffee pot, no blender or toaster. I think they were designing for aesthetics, but no functionality.

The bed was ultra comfortable. The shower has no grab bar otherwise very nice. The bed on the one side next to the wall is a huge error. The door has a window which lets in the bright light all night shining directly onto the bed. There are no cooking devices and the lack of a counter light over the stove makes cooking difficult. The total lack of any drawers for storing would make long term storage impossible

Newly renovated property that is close to many stores and restaurants in the area. There’s also a concierge service available to assist you with booking tours and excursions. The on-site bar and swimming pools are very nice along with easy access to the beach/beach chairs. My family and I felt very welcomed and safe. The entire staff is very nice. We’d definitely stay there again.

The drinks at the bar onsite where way over priced, the high winds had brought in some seaweed, so swimming locally wasnt an option. We had booked through Expedia and it seemed to cause some confusion.

Good parts: decent location, nice beach area in the back, newly-renovated rooms, great cleaning staff. Bad parts: construction everywhere, including at Bananas. On Saturday morning, construction started at 7:30am NEXT DOOR TO OUR ROOM. No one seemed to care, no one apologized, and it took a lot of arm-twisting to get them to even move us. They kept saying they wouldn't move us because the other rooms were all more expensive than ours. This was an even bigger problem because the walls and doors are extremely thin. If you have trouble sleeping with noise, you shouldn't stay here. You can hear absolutely everything, including people in the courtyard and voices in other rooms. They moved us to a nice 1BR suite, which I recommend as a minimum if you're going to stay here.

Pros: The check-in was made special with a lovely pineapple drink and all relevant areas of the form were pre-filled, which was great for me as I dislike filling out firms. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable with thd most comfortable bed & pillows I have ever experienced in a hotel. Coffee/tea supplies, water, toiletries, iron iron board, dishwashing soap cloth were available. Room service came to clean the room daily. The location is within walking distance from restaurants & grocery stores. Cons: A kettle and saucepan would have been nice The toilet paper was a thin single ply - a thicker brand would have been nicer
