We really enjoyed our stay at the Raven’s Lakeview retreat. It’s a beautiful home and was very clean when we arrived. There’s just a few things I would like to point out. There is no direct lake access. There is a map in the home with public lake access directions, but we were never able to locate the area. We did find a swimming area down the road which was about a 5 to 7 minute drive. The upstairs bedroom gets very hot. There’s no fan and it doesn’t cool very well up there. Also, the hot water doesn’t get very hot. There are plenty of toiletries provided, which was really nice. We loved the home, but wouldn’t stay again due to no direct lake access. That may have been an oversight on my part.

Very nice property, super nice people in the area! Getting to the lake from the home is challenging, but worth the effort. The driveway was a bit steep for a 14 foot trailer that we were hauling our motorcycles in, but we made it work. We rode motorcycle, rented a boat, went to area attractions, golfed and enjoyed many of the area restaurants.

Location and view. (AND Kristina, of course!)

The views from the back of both levels are beautiful. Plenty of sitting areas in the house to enjoy the view inside and out. Quite and peaceful neighborhood.

This place has so much potential, but it is clear it is a new listing and they’re still working out a few details. It is not clear from the listing, but there is no lake access. You can use a neighbors very steep walking path if you ask, but the property itself does not have access. The view is beautiful, however. We had trouble entering the home. The code provided by Vacasa did not work, so I had to call. They had a backup method of entry with a key in a lockbox, but it took a while to figure out. There are strange lighting choices made in the home. All overhead lights that are either off or very bright. The living room is very dark at night or very bright while trying watch the TV. No dimmers and very few lamps. The hot tub was filthy and smelled odd, but was working. The primary suite is huge and secluded upstairs, but there is no door to the bedroom and no door to the bathroom from the bedroom. The hot water heater went out after 2 showers and we never got any more hot water after that. We live locally, so I was excited to stay here with kids and some local family, but it was a rather lackluster experience. I considered not writing this review, as I often stay quiet when there are minor inconveniences, but figured the out of state owners should be made aware of the challenges the property is having so they can address them for future guests. I’m happy to discuss with the owners if further details are needed in hopes that others can have a better stay.

We were very pleased with this home for spring break! It was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of 4 and a baby. Relaxing on the oversized decks with the hot tub was just what we needed to relax. We appreciated the upgraded bathrooms and spacious living areas. The home is in a beautiful area.

Can’t say enough good things about this house! The view is awesome. Hot tub was warm. Plenty of towels.
