I booked and paid for a room for one night. When I arrived, someone was in the room. I was told by the property manager to come back later and I will have a room. When I came back, I was told by the property manager that it was way overbooked and that she has to cancel and send me a refund. I never received the refund and and had to dispute the charge on my credit card.

I wasnt sure what i rented until i got there and realized it was a house. I didn't have my code but they were nice about it. It is a bit confusing to find because the house was painted but you could do far worse then ending up here for the price. Nice TV but the room is small.

1. I had problems getting in the house when I got there because it requires a code that I never received in my email, but I was able to get the contact information by another person staying there so I could can in.
2. I booked a signature room which would have a king size bed and would be down stairs, and got a comfort room that I believe was a double bed which is upstairs I have problems climbing stairs being that I have a handicap, breakfast was stated that it would be included, but when I went down to get breakfast there was some cereal but when I opened the refrigerator I found a gallon of milk that says "NO GUEST", there was nothing else for breakfast.
3. There was no soap supplied in the bathroom upstairs to be able to wash your hands after going to the restroom and no towel.
4. It smelt of cigarettes and marijuana, and when I went down in the morning there was somebody sleeping in the living room (which is supposed to be a shared area for everybody staying there).

I arrived on a Wednesday and before i even got to the property amy the owner reached out to me and welcomed me . Gave me instructions on how to get into property… once we arrived we were very impressed felt like i was staying at my family’s home … whenever i needed anything amy was super quick to answer questions or get me what i needed …. Clean linen clean bathroom … my room was upstairs, but due to my friends disability, they were more than gracious to accommodate us with the room downstairs without us even asking they went ahead and switched us rooms, which was very amazing. We are very grateful for that. They are very friendly…. You have full access to kitchen and living area …before we checked out on friday amy blessed us with her beautiful smile and thanked for our stay .. we in return thanked her hospitality and for her, opening her home to us…when i come back to Washington i will definitely not stay at any local hotels i will be staying at amy and dales homestay.. me and Chiquita give this 2 thumbs up .. we can only imagine how beautiful it is in winter time…

I did not realize this was an Airbnb until I got to the house and I couldn’t get in. I tried and I tried and I tried to contact the Host with no luck after having to go to the bathroom badly. I left, got in touch with Hotels.com they of course could not get a hold of the host, so two hours later I finally ended in a hotel down the road with the help of Hotels.com. The host finally got back to me (AFTER i found another place to stay) and she or he told me I was being rude because of my frustration of being stuck outside with ZERO response for hours. I recommend you not not waste your time or money unless you want to be stranded outside a unkept yard waiting on a Host that never gets back in touch with you because their phone is “out of service while at work” and then you finally have to leave, You’re told your the rude one. Full disclosure I probably was rude after sitting there for two hours and not getting a response

My husband and I stayed on a quick one night stop on our way to the Oregon coast. Owner was kind, but I had to reach out to her to specifically get the code for the door. Upon getting there, the property is a little unkempt, and the stairway getting to the back door was a little tricky. There were other guests (or maybe owners?) in the living room watching television when we arrived and we immediately went to our room. The room looked clean and well kept, but our door wouldn't stay closed and locked, and we had to place a chair next to it so it wouldn't pop open. There was a window AC unit, but no matter what we tried it would only blow room temperature air. The shared bathroom was okay, although the toilet is very very low to the floor. When we got up in the morning a guest was sleeping on the couch, maybe a person from the night before? The breakfast was sparse, with cereal, bread, and

On the road, after a 14 hour day, I stayed at the Tacoma Homestay. Clean, comfortable, and most importantly, peace and quiet. I was not disturbed by other guests nor the sound of traffic. Got a great night's sleep and left early. Did not take advantage of breakfast.

Room was roomy and comfortable. The bed was great! Bathroom was shared, but clean. The only drawback was the smell of cigarette smoke, specially in the bathroom.

Room was pretty small and without a desk but OK for a one-night stay. Nice and conveniently located, very easy check-in..

Amy was a wonderful host and the check in process extremely easy. She was very quick to answer questions and tend to any needs. The house was very clean which is important to me and my room was cozy. Just note you have to share the bathroom with other guests but it wasn’t a problem at all.

Lovely, clean property.

Before you book, understand you will be staying with other tenants. The other tenants weren’t bad at all, and the shared amenities were clean. The surrounding lawn needed to be cleaned up. The owner was very responsive as well.

Very clean, nice place. Had just driven cross country and was a welcome rest.

Found out at the very last minute that this property was actually not available, contacted support just for them to tell me that they could refund me(which would take 7 business days) and that was it. Absolutely atrocious treatment.

Excellent stay, totally recommended. Host did an amazing job with communication. First time I have used a homestay, great experience!

They overbooked (which I don't think was their fault). The poor girl who runs the house was very nice but seems very inexperienced. There were dirty dishes with dried up food on the countertops when we arrived (10pm). There were people there that she seemed to know, smoking weed outside in the their car and then came I'm to watch TV with her. I did not feel comfortable there, so I gave my room to the other couple and left. She did not know how to process the refund to me, but we figured something out.
I truly hope they figure out how to make a more hospitable experience for their guests so they can be successful with their Bed and Breakfast.

Property owners was nice to begin with, was having sex above room. When I contacted them at 230am they read the message but did not respond. Around 7am they was moving again slamming doors as they left the house. breakfast food was expired and moldy beyond belief. When I approached her about the situations her got aggressive and defensive. Never again will I do a home stay! Thought it’d be fun and something new and turned out to be a nightmare! If I could post pics I would!!!! It was terrible

Nice discount property for a stop over in Tacoma. Decent location with superior bed and breakfast atmosphere. Shared bathroom with other guests, but clean and no issues. Would stay here again!

Loved the cozy home atmosphere! Very quiet, clean and safe. Great experience. Needs to have food actually available to eat. There was cereal but no milk, coffee but no cream, no protein items. Needs milk, eggs, coffee, coffee creamer, cold ceral, bagles, almond butter (because peanut is a bog allergy), orange juice and bananas available as just a basic breakfast.

The property was beautiful and clean. It was set up perfectly and even had self serve breakfast. Owners are extremely nice and communicative. 10/10 recommend!
