Perfect spot for an overnight in Sesimbra.

Very nicely decorated in a fabulous location. The food in the restaurant was very good and the staff were all very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

The TV comes on as soon as you put the card in for power in the room. We could hear the tv in the room next door when the guest returned at night. Sound proofing could be improved.

Very Romantic!

The location is fantastic! The decor is tasteful and the staff is wonderful. The beach view from the room was a delight. We are smack in the middle of town, near all the restaurants, shops and attractions.

The room could use a small fridge, coffee machine/teapot. It is always nice to be able to have a beverage in the room at night. But this in no way detracted from the stay and our satisfaction with the room. It would just be an added bonus to an already great room.

A beautiful and easy stay overlooking the sea

Super easy and flexible check-in, friendly staff, great location next to restaurants, bars, beach and local food market, lovely room with a balcony and beach views! Would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately the water in the shower base filled up very quickly so we had to have lightning speed showers. Other than that, perfect.

Disappointing

location

Water took far too long to heat so we had cold showers. Nothing was done about it. Had to ask for a hairdryer and glasses/cups. Staff were frequently not available.

Very central location. Found a nice solution for our bikes. Very friendly staff.

Since the town is surrounded by hills, it is a tough ride uphill to get back to the main road. Just to mention for all to come by bike to this town.

The location just off the main promade. However parking was a real difficulty and nothing dedicated to the hotel. When things went wrong the staff were excellent

The room was a bit basic and the use of concrete in the bathroom failed to impress me. The real issue of the door lock failing with all my personal items inside with a part-time manned reception there was some panic. I wondered had I been inside the room and the lock failed would I be locked inside without a landline phone. As it was the adjoining restaurant had a person there that responded. The response was first-class . Even the following day they were helpful. Can you trust technology in unmanned nighttime rooms?

Terrible sound insulation

No sound insulation at all - VERY noisy. Terrible sleep. You can hear people in other rooms unzipping their suitcases, talking, going to the toilet at night. Street noise can be heard too (although it was not a problem in May on a Saturday we stayed). Beds were quite hard, if that's a thing you dislike.

I loved how clean it was...I've loved the location...the bed was very comfortable ..and the walk in shower 🚿 perfect...surprisingly the hot water was actually hot and lovely ...completely different from certain places I've stayed ....the staff are very friendly and helpful 🙂 so for me there's nothing not to like...I will come back soon and I will recommend .

Perfect first night in Portugal

Fantastic location, easy to find. Lovely small room with everything you need and a view of the square and the sea. The staff were warm friendly and welcomed us with a bottle that we shared with them in the restaurant. We stayed here last minute, and only for one night. but we would definitely come back and enjoy a few more days in Sisembra and stay at Casa Praca.

Lovely Guest House close to the beach

very lovely room, great location just a few steps from the beach. breakfast was also very good. i even got a breakfast lunchbox when I left early for the airport. very nice owner of the guesthouse.

when travelling alone rather pricey, a fridge or fridge in the common area would have been great

The hosts and staff are all super friendly and accommodating. The location of the guesthouse is unbeatable, right in front of the beach and near all the nice restaurants.

This is the best place ever. The people are so lovely, the family that runs it are so so friendly and accommodating. Fresh fruit and delicious breakfast. We wish we could stay longer!!!!

Location, location, location. This lovely guest house is only a few meters from the marvelous beach and right in the heart of the old village of Sisembra, great for restaurants and other amenities. We were made extremely welcome. We would recommend the maritime Museum - just to get a better idea of the fascinating old town.

Comfortable and close to the beach!

Comfortable stay, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent location close to the beach, restaurants and the bus station. I appreciated the fresh fruit, oats and plant based milk for breakfast. The wifi was good and the shower water was always hot.

The following items (protein alternatives to eggs and cheese) would make the breakfast even better: nuts (such as walnuts and almonds), seeds (such as sunflower, pumpkin or sesame), peanut butter, and more local seasonal fruit.

Perfect location, beautiful views, lovely owners.

The location is absolutely perfect, one minute walk from the beach, restaurants and shops. The rooms are very comfortable, my room had an ocean view and balcony which was fantastic. The owners are lovely people. Susana went out of her way to make my stay comfortable, nothing is too much trouble. I was traveling alone and really felt at home. A wonderful place to stay and I’ll be back for sure.

Everything. Very friendly and welcoming check in. The property is beautiful. The room was well maintained and clean, bed very comfy, bathroom spacious and clean. The balcony with the sea view was incredible. We highly recommend staying here.

Located in the center of Sesimbra, almost right at the beach. You can easily walk to both sides of the beach. All the good restaurants are close-by.

Breakfast will get a bit boring if you stay a couple of days. The room could use some shelves or a dressoir to put your belongings.

Best stay in Sesimbra

central location, next to the main beach, restaurants and stores. we can see the sea from the bed. The owners are so friendly, and would highly recommend others to stay here. We would love to return and stay in the same guesthouse. If you love seafood, sesimbra would not make you disappointed!
