We stayed in a hilltop suite, which was very well equipped. We especially liked the little pool, but also the view from the balcony was nice. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Although the resort does everything to get you fast and comfortably from the hilltop suite to the hotel (reception, restaurant, swimming pool), they even use a golf buggy for the guests, it still takes some time and effort to get there. Restaurant prices are significantly higher than local standards.

Kokomo Gili Gede is a peaceful island perfect for relaxing. The stunning sunrise and sunset views are a highlight, and the swimming pool is amazing for cooling off. While there’s not much to do, the quiet atmosphere is ideal for unwinding. A shoutout to Atning, Hendra, Hasan and Uki for their fantastic service!
Just note that while the restaurant prices are higher than nearby warungs, the food quality is similar.

Bellissimo resort, personale gentilissimo, ottime cene in riva al mare.
Escursioni in barca super consigliate!
Gili gede molto selvaggia e ancora in gran parte inesplorata.
Non c’è la spiaggia di fronte al resort ma si può raggiungere una spiaggia molto bella e praticamente deserta con una passeggiata di 10 min.

We felt very welcome and everyone from the staff was very attentive. Thank you all! A great place to take time off, just relax and enjoy snorkeling, diving and island hopping. The resort was very clean. The weather was really nice in December, mostly sunny.

Beautiful hotel! The team were absolutely amazing. So attentive and helpful throughout our stay. I was unwell one day and they couldn’t do enough to make sure I was okay; offering me medicines, delivering toast to my room throughout the day - just so kind.
The best part, for us, was we got upgraded to a one bedroom villa on arrival which was just amazing.
Hasan, was especially helpful throughout our stay.
The only point I have to make here is the price of the restaurant. Compared to the mainland either Lombok or Bali the restaurant is about 3x more expensive. Which you can understand as they have to bring everything over by boat.
The quality of the food was good, but was very expensive.
No happy hour, so cocktails were too expensive for us!

Fabulous
Aren´t we all strive to find the hidden lonely paradise island, hunting for the “unspoiled” far away from bars serving breakfast 24/7 and tourist crowds, searching for the old northern gili islands of yesteryear? But still dreaming of infinite comfort, sublime food and sparkling wine on a pristine tropical island surrounded by beautiful coral atols with yesterdays structures of marine life and impressive coral tables?
We found it. A sublime intimate luxury resort overlooking the sparkling seas of the Indian Ocean, with the most brilliant and memorable staff providing a stunningly service from the moment we arrived by boat. All staff always went above and beyond. The food was outstanding and Villa was very spacious, clean and comfortable with great beds.
We were there on our 25 years anniversary of marriage and staff made a gorgeous display on the bed with flowers and so kindly gave us an upgrade to best villa of the hotel with a view to the sea.
11 days we stayed - not a night too much. We will be back.
The hotel offers a broad range of watersports activities. We enjoyed most drift snorkeling trips with local fisherboat to nearby uninhabited islands with untouched white lonely sandy pristine beaches, crystal clear waters teeming with uncountable colourful fish of all kind, turtles and stunningly vivid corals of all kinds. Like Gili Trawangan 30 years ago.
Romantic picknick on lonely palm tree island with white sandy beach and turtles breathing at the water surface is just around the corner.
Gili Gede is an island without roads. There are only paths, amazing shells to be found along the classic palm-fringed untouched sandy beaches beaches surrounding Gili Gede and a lovely and friendly locals waiting to tell their story and life.
Remember to coordinate your stay with “Giligetaway” boats as they are the only public connection to Nusa Penida, Gili T and Bali.

Absolutely incredible resort with the most amazing staff! Atning and Wira made our stay so enjoyable and were so friendly. We will definitely be back! Everything is so clean and they tidy your room during the day and turn down your sheets at night. Such a great experience!

They've really done a great job. We were upgraded to a Villa and they are well finished, thought out and luxurious . Great bed and linen... excellent. Food is expensive but understandable as it's on an island and it's very good quality...)) Staff are brilliant.
Nothing..it was awesome..except no bum gun ))) and kids menu.

Staff were amazing, villa was absolutely beautiful and the food at the restaurant was incredible! they organised us an amazing private boat trip and they were so helpful with organising boats to and from the island, and all round it was just a beautiful stay.

Everything was amazing. All of the staff were exceptional, everyone was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the food was outstanding, we think some of the best food we've had anywhere.
We stayed in a beach front villa as we preferred the location right on the sea front with views of the pier and out to sea.
The hotel pool was fantastic and we spent much time lounging around there!
Wiyan the General Manager took us snorkelling at his suggestion and gave instruction on the stand up paddle board too.
The locals from all of the villages on the island were so friendly and we felt very safe at the hotel.
Maybe could do with some more parasols around the pool for shade, it was quiet when we stayed so not really a problem but I imagine if the hotel was busy it may be a problem.

The Kokomo is a lovely relaxing property. Anggrek Villa is a beautiful room with three large folding doors to open up to private pool. The living area and separate bedroom were large yet still had a cozy feel. Room immaculate. They do provide bug spray (you’re in the tropics) but we never needed to use. The entire Kokomo staff is exceptional! We ate all of our meals (5 days/4 nights) and each meal delicious. A very nice selection of food and drinks. The restaurant wait staff was top notch. They are all so friendly and helpful, a big reason for high marks.

Pool Villa was excellent, spacious, clean, well-resourced with a good size pool and sunrise view. Turn-down service was a nice touch and the final night dinner at the end of the pier was a good indication of how hard the Resort works to look after their guests. Excellent local staff and great food in the Restaurant.
Everything within the Resort is first-rate, however the island itself (which can take some effort to get to) does not offer a lot of attractions. Off-shore snorkelling and diving are good reasons to be here, but long beach walks and swimming in the busy waters are not realistic options.
The Villas themselves are excellent value, but the Restaurant is expensive for the region and without many other options on the island you are more or less obliged to eat there (quality food though).

Fantastic resort with the most wonderful staff. Can't overstate how friendly and lovely everyone was. Excellent restaurant with very comfortable villas. Recommend.
The island of Gili Gede has been neglected by residents. A lot of trash on the beach and the island spoil the atmosphere. While this is prevelant through much of Indonesia I would have expected the resort's and businesses on the island to take the initiative to keep it clean like some other areas have.

The beachfront villa was lovely. We had a gorgeous view of the jetty stretching into the ocean. There is also a lovely little garden right in front of the terrace. We spent most of our time lounging on that terrace and had our meals exclusively there.
The gym is small but has all the basic equipment.
The food was hit or miss. Banana pancake was great, but the pasta, beef rendang, and nasi goreng were lackluster.

Kokomo exceeded our expectations on all fronts - service, food and amenities. Everything was well organised and we felt very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone.
The usual problem across Asia ie plastic on the beaches although the area in front of Kokomo was always kept clean by Kokomo staff.
