Relaxing farm stay, close to wineries, emmersed in nature.
We had the most relaxing enjoyable weekend. The cabin was spacious, amazing views, full hunter experience emerged in nature. Cute pool, clean, all the amenities you need and the owners were so accommodating and welcoming. Even turned on the light for us went were we out late on the Saturday night. These little things you don’t get in a hotel stay. Made our experience great and we’ll definitely be recommending this place to our friends

Cosy country cabin feels
Peaceful, great size cabin
Driveway has lots of holes and lots of puddles after the rain. Shower has no surround or curtain and water doesn’t run away well so when you go to have the next shower there is freezing water in the bottom of the shower. No bench to put toiletries on when getting ready. Needs kitchenette which sink. Be great to also be able to watch TV from bed.

Well worth considering Wallaby Lodge as your base in the Hunters Valley.
This was a room only facility - which we wanted. The accomodation was lovely & exactly what we had hoped for! Very peaceful - waking up lying on our bed watching Kangaroos & Wallabies grazing in front of us. The owners Val & Andrew are most hospitable & friendly. They clearly hear any question you may have and leave one pleasantly suprised with lovely little unexpected touches.
Oh - we did not want to leave!!!!

If you like isolation then it is perfect.
The location is terrible specially at night. Turn onto the property and there is a very small sign Wallaby Lodge. This part of road was terrible dirt with enormous pot holes in it. The property is very isolated, waking up in the morning with about 7 kangaroos in front of our cottage. The cottage is very different different with corrugated ceilings and the bath sitting in corrugated walls. It was nice and clean. Please fix the front step, we are both in our 70th and we feel that there should be an other step at the bottom with a proper handrail.

Surpassed Expectations 10 Fold.
The hosts are very Accommodating, Friendly, Helpful, and Flexible. The place surpassed our expectations 10 fold, definitely the best value for money we've come across, we were there for a wedding nearby and our friends stayed up the road paying far more for far less.
Nothing not to like.
