Check in, beautifully appointed... fresh environment, peaceful.
Wasn't able to access breakfast earlier due to having to leave at 07.30. But it was OK.

Krásné ubytování přímo v centru Kingussie. Velice příjemný personál. Komunikace s ubytovateli byla rychlá. Dobře vybavený, čistý, pohodlný a útulný pokoj. Na pokoji je k dispozici lokální kosmetika a kávovar. Dostali jsme také výtečné sušenky. Skvělá, čerstvě připravená snídaně za dobrou cenu. Určitě bychom se rádi vrátili a vřele doporučujeme.

The rooms were lovely and my son especially liked lounging in bed while watching tv.
The breakfast was delicious, highly recommend it!

Recently and nicely refurbished and very clean. I received an entry code for the front door and my key was in a basket at the unmanned reception. I don’t mind this at all! You are not always in a mood to talk with people right :-). Bed and room was comfortable. I enjoyed the complementary whiskey and honey scented toiletries. The free freshly baked cookies on arrival where delicious. Breakfast was good, i especially liked the fresh berries and the orange ginger shot, that was a nice extra healthy breakfast treat.
The room didn’t feel private, I could hear every little sound from next room and hallway. My toilet flushed sometimes without me touching it. They should get the plumbing checked. Also there where some broken tiles in the bathroom. There was no hot water :-( after 5 minutes of letting the shower run it was lukewarm at best. The check-in was stressful because I did not get the room I booked. I booked the superior king size, opted for the choice of 1 large double bed and river views. There where pictures of the selected room when booking. I looked at this very specifically because I don’t like surprises. What I got was room Alvie with 2 singles pushed together and on the road side. Not looking like the room in the pictures. I texted the contact person who said I got the room I booked. And that superior rooms are more expensive then what I paid. Luckily I could show screenshots of my booing that said ‘superior kingsize’ and ‘river views’. They where more apologetic after that and offered a discount and complimentary breakfast and I was fine with this solution. Just be careful and double check when you book a room.

From the freshly baked cookies awaiting us in the room, to the team’s warm welcome, we immediately felt at home in the Highlands. Everything is new and the place is absolutely spotless. The breakfast was amazing too!

This is an absolute gem! Spotlessly clean, beautifully renovated, great room, fantastic staff and located conveniently in the lovely village of Kingussie which is close enough to everything the Cairngorms can offer but in a lovely quiet corner. We couldn't have been treated more kindly by everyone and the freshly baked cookies were delicious! Cannot recommend highly enough!

Cannot fault this lovely B and B. Sam's hosting skills were exceptional, and he was very knowledgeable on local walks. Our room was stunning with a gorgeous view. Tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We loved the complimentary home made cookies and coffee machine. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice of cooked and continental options. We will definitely be back!

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the Cairngorms and surrounding area. It has been newly decorated to a high standard and our room was clean and cosy, making it the ideal place to relax after a day of activities. Sam and the other staff were really friendly and on hand with anything you needed. We stayed with our dog and they provided us with a little doggy pack for our room as well as an extra sausage in the morning. We would highly recommend to anyone who is staying to book the breakfast as it was delicious. We will definitely look to stay here again when we visit this part of Scotland.

We was a bit apprehensive about this new hotel due to no reviews but so glad we booked! This beautiful B&B was honestly one of the best accommodations we have stayed in and we have stayed in many! The rooms were newly decorated, modern and exceptionally clean. The host Sam couldn't have done anymore and learnt our party of 9 names personally! We've never had that before. We had yummy cooked cookies waiting in our rooms and the breakfast was exceptional with many healthy and vegetarian options! We would all definitely return and recommend this bed and breakfast HIGHLY!
Nothing to dislike!
