This impressive converted farmhouse was built in the late eighteenth century and is located just 4 km from Montefiascone. Its strategic position on a hill offers you a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding green hills, the Cathedral and Viterbo. The house has been renovated although the original grandeur and features are still very much present. The house is decorated with a vast selection of antiques as well as rustic Italian furniture. This large home offers various reception rooms and dining areas plus no less than seven bedrooms and bathrooms. The house equally offers a large patio with a wood-burning stove and barbecue where guests will be able to dine al fresco. The spacious garden will be ideal to spend the long summer days. The beautiful pool completes the Italian ‘chateau’ experience and is equipped with sunloungers. Should guests require combining relaxation with activity there are various hiking trails that can be explored in this beautiful region. The location of the house is ideal for exploring the ancient villages and towns of the three neighbouring regions of Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany and discovering the beauties of the area. Places of Interest: Only 10 km from the property is Viterbo with its beautiful medieval old town and its thermal baths, ideal to enjoy a relaxing day; Civita di Bagnoregio (the "dying city") and Bagnaia (Villa Lante) are 18 km from here. In Orvieto (30 km) you can admire a magnificent gothic cathedral. The Tyrrhenian Sea and Tuscany are 40 km from the house, the fascinating Eternal City of Rome 80 km.
