As perfect a place as you could wish for

What a quality place to stay and so central. The bonus was having the closed in balcony which was perfect for meals. I liked the layout and the furniture was just suited - not too much allowing the room to remain sizeable. The room is on a corner so two sets of windows helped in the heat (as well as the fan!) the access was relatively straightforward and the cleaning staff were friendly and quality of cleaning was very high

Could do with some bowls to microwave things in

Shabby cute near the market in Santander

Close to the market, cute interior

Very old(but not historic)apartment renovated in a shabby cute way so if it was a bit more reasonable maybe it was great stay. But when we booked it was decent price. With the neighbor’s water running right behind our bed every time they flush, and not having any privacy with bathroom…I think it was charging a bit out of its range.

A good stopover en route to the ferry.

A quirky conversion of an old apartment.

Very little sound insulation in the ceiling so we could hear every footstep above. Fortunately the upstairs inhabitants were quiet people. Parking is a big issue in Santander so we had a 15 min walk uphill with our luggage.

Cute but too noisy

The room was very cute and cosy. All the necessary toiletries, tea and a kettle, a fridge and tableware. The bed is comfy.

1) No privacy in the bathroom at all: the door is completely transparent, the shower is reflected in the mirror in the room, the door doesn't close and doesn't provide any soundproofing. 2) All the windows are not soundproofed since they are vintage. During the night it was very noisy in the room. 3) The curtains don't close the windows completely, especially in the bathroom. There was too much street light in the room during the night. Overall, because of the noise and lights I couldn't sleep well before the airport, even though it was only Wednesday.

The room was amazing, comfy clean and with all the facilities needed

Unfortunately there was no elevator and the rooms were located on floor above the ground floor We were traveling with a little kid a stroller and a quite heavy suit case which made it a bit complicated

Very lovely apartment with very friendly cleaning staff!

Beautifully decorated apartment. Good central location. Easy access with details sent promptly.

Noise is a small issue, we brought ear plugs so nothing too much but would recommend them. Bathroom could do with a bit more privacy on both the window (vinyl on window would be good as blond not perfect match to have down constantly) bathroom door also very transparent and was unable to be closed during our visit.

A little disappointed with the overall Santander offerings

Access was straight forward once you had all the electronic key numbers to access the building and the room. There isn’t a reception so everything is communicated online, and doable.

All communication is online and although we became aware of this after booking, and although it worked in the end. It was a bit of a problem as we were touring from Alicante travelling up to Santander stopping off at other locations on our journey and having to send passport details and photographs of these online was a pain. We also paid for a so called Superior Room with a view of the town. Really there was nothing superior about the room. It was a room divided in sections by Plywood. And there was no view! As you looked out of the French window, there was a tree either side obstructing and views other than at the multi story building opposite and the street directly below. There was no air conditioning and the room became hot during the night as we were unable to open the double glazed French window because of traffic noise from the street. It looked to us that the so called superior room was the one next door, which would have also had a better view of or part view of the town. The bed wasn’t that comfortable either, and the walk in shower would have over flowed if you took a litt E longer in the shower. We stayed at five different places on this journey and Urban Suites would be voted as number 5. So bottom of the pile. I’m not saying it was rubbish, I’m just saying it wasn’t up to our expectations and the price was also more than we paid at the other accommodations where our expectations were achieved. Basically in our view the room did not match the price of a “Superior Room”

Fantastic!

Wonderful studio, very comfortable bed, seating area and fantastic balcony. Loved the decor and studio was spotless throughout
