This property was nice, but we felt we shouldn’t have been responsible for keeping the property supplied with toilet paper and paper towels. We thought those should have been included in the price. We also didn’t have enough dish towels and no dish rags. Staying a week was tough without a washer and dryer to do the dish towels and rags. I also feel there should be a rail across the outdoor patio outside the dining, living room area. There was nowhere for the kids to play.except for the patio.

Excellent Estes hide away. Easy check in and out. Beautiful cabin close to all attractions.

Beautiful Home. Great location!

Our family with three adults and two teenagers enjoyed staying at this picture perfect spacious quality log cabin secluded in trees high overlooking Lake Estes. The cabin is spectacular and the outer deck allowed us to enjoy deer and chipmunks in the area We just needed better directions for finding the cabin the first time since GSP was not helpful. . We would stay there again.

Beautiful location and cabin. Enjoyed our stay.

We loved this cabin for many reasons, and we would consider booking again. The porch truly is a spectacular place to have coffee and watch the sunrise. It's very peaceful and secluded. We were greeted with chipmunks and hummingbirds every morning and could watch the sun rise directly over the mountains. With having 6 teens, the space in the great room was perfect. There was plenty of seating to watch a movie including all 8 of us. The dining table inside and out had plenty of seating as well for meals and games. We never felt crowded. The only drawback was that the room with the twin beds was very tight and they aren't full twins. Our 16 and 15 year old sons hardly fit in the beds. It was pretty snug and they were uncomfortable. They tried sleeping on the couches instead one night. Note that there's no air conditioning which is common for a mountain home. It was hot in the cabin by late afternoon. We explored the closets and did find three fans that we used in the loft, the queen room, and the twins room. Two of the fans were really small and ineffective. I would suggest to the property management to have additional fans (larger) for the other spaces to make things more comfortable. The road to get to the cabin really is steep. Our minivan barely made it each time and we usually opted to use our pickup and keep our van down below which isn't convenient. It would have been impossible in the winter. We appreciated the convenience of the gas fire pit. Very easy. Great place!

We loved everything about this property. Beautiful property and views! It had the authentic cabin vibe! Has everything you need. Its an awesome location close to everything you need. I was worried about no AC but it was totally fine because its cooler there and you can open the windows. The deck and outdoor chairs and space is just amazing! Spacious inside and outside! All beds were very comfortable. The drive up to the house was a little steep, so if going in winter months, you would definitely stay here again, I've already been recommending it to our friends and family. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven with us!

Unique and interesting place. Fun and relaxing for all of us.

This cabin is better than any of the pictures. So many spots to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.Great beds, grill, kitchen items, etc. The only thing that I wished was explained better was how to get to the property. Once I spoke to a person, it was easy. Don't trust your phone directions until you get off hwy 7 and then research the address.I will stay here again when I return to Estes Park.

This home is unbelievable. Very comfortable and the views are amazing from every deck. Loved the rocking chairs on the main deck. We would definitely come back.

Very, very, nice place. Very close to town, far enough to be out of the way and high enough to enjoy the scenery below. Everything inside the home was nice and well maintained. Lots of room inside and sitting outside overlooking the mountains was fantastic.

This log home was designed for comfort and relaxation! It is a gem in the area and served as a wonderful home base during our trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. The home is private and surrounded by trees and nature on it's three acre property on Prospect Mountain! Our family already looks forward to our next stay at this location!

This is the second time we have stayed here. We love this home and appreciate all the details thought of by the owners. Great location. Private but just minutes to the shops or the park entrance. I visit from Florida as we don't have mountains or snow, both of which I miss. Certainly enjoyed both this year. No problems at all with the driveway. Many interactions with the deer right down the road from the driveway. If you are looking for a nice place to unwind in a beautiful fully equipped home, look no further. Thank you for the wonderful stay...we will be back again!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very nice residence, very clean and lots of privacy. We loved the location and its already one of our favorite places we have stayed. We hope to come back again soon. We appreciate the communication and everything was a breeze from check in to check out. Five star all the way!!!!!

We had a great time and the property was impressive. As mentioned in the description and some of the other reviews the road is not bad, but you do have to be able to do a little off roading to get there. Between the truck and the Jeep we didn't have any issues. Also was impressed at how much cooking gear, dishes, etc. there was. You could cook a full on 5 star meal no problem as long as you bring the ingredients!

Wondweful place, remote with everything we needed.

This property is amazing. Beautiful house with beautiful views. We had a single family with 3 kids stay for the better part of a week. My kids really liked seeing the deer and the chipmunks in the woods around the house. Plenty of space with lots to do less than 10 minutes from the house. One thing to note is that GPS will not take you to the house. Use GPS to navigate to Prospect Mountain Road and Peak View Drive. From there, enter the address in apple or google maps and then take Prospect Mountain Road north and use the map on your smartphone to manually navigate to the property. It's very easy to find if you do that. We would definitely stay in this property again.

Enjoyed the log cabin and great veiws from the side of the mountain. I would highly suggest anybody reading this to have a 4wd to get up the steep winding road, especially if the weather got bad. We went hiking several mornings up behind the house and got some great pictures overlooking Estes Park. The only reason I didn't rate cleaniness of property a 5 is it was a little dusty inside on the logs, but would not stop us from staying here again. Be cafeful using Navagation to find the house, they all take you to dead end road. We were notified the day before arriving that there was a problem with the gas firepit and it would not be available during our stay, this was not a big deal to us. When we checked out we realized we had forgotten our camera charger and called Carol at the SkyRun office and within a couple hours were able to retrieve it from Carol. Great customer service!

Beautiful home, our favorite spot for morning coffee and afternoon wine was the balcony and the row of rocking Adirondack chairs!
4.9
A perfect place to gather with family to enjoy Estes Park and RMNP. The huge windows and decks allowed for us to enjoy the views even during a short rainfall.
The kitchen is well appointed and having 3 bathrooms was perfect for our group.
The only drawback to the place is the long driveway, and we were glad for the recommendation of 4 wheel drive.
4.9
Property was clean and since it is managed by a company and not an individual, communication was quicker and instructions much more efficient. Yes, the road is very steep but we stayed in June and our Hyundai Sonata Hybrid made it just fine. The last turn onto the property itself could be better marked as everyone who stayed there missed the tiny sign and be aware that if you have an iPhone, it will try to take you down a private, chained off road.
The property is beautiful and so is the cabin. Plenty of space both inside and outside to sit with friends and loved ones. We all had a really great time!

We fell in love with the location and lodge immediately! The outside deck areas are amazing and main deck is so spacious. Spent a lot of time outside enjoying the views, birds, chipmunks, sunrise, moon rise and the quiet. The inside is so spacious and beautiful. So many unique and interesting finishes to this house. My husband said the pictures really didn't do it justice whereas we usually find pictures are misleading and 'glamorized'. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time in this lovely home!! Wonderful place!! Would love to stay there again if we go back to that area.

I have been coming to Estes Park every year since I was a little girl. As an adult Estes is home away from home. We come to share the Estes experience with our children. This place is by far one of my favorites! What an amazing property! This morning enjoyed coffee on the deck while watching a bear walk by at the end of the deck~ this is the magic of Estes - love it!!

Our family traveled here for rest and relaxation .When we arrived we were amazed at the home - so beautiful! It exceeded all of our expectations. The online pictures do not show all the beauty! My husband and I honeymooned in Estes 20 years ago - this was our first time back since then. This time we brought our 3 children. We had fun driving around Rocky Mountain National Park, hiking Bear Lake, seeing the Continental Divide, shopping in downtown Estes and just relaxing! We enjoyed grilling out may nights and using the amazing kitchen. Sitting on the porch drinking coffee was a favorite for me. We even saw a bear on our last evening! When we return to Estes, Mounticello is the place that we want to come back to each time. Thank you for helping us create so many wonderful memories!

This cabin was even more perfect than we expected. It was a little hard to find, as (Hidden by Airbnb) maps couldn't direct us there accurately. One we put the phone down and did some exploring, we found it just fine. The inside of the cabin is beautiful, clean and spacious. There are so many spots to sit and relax both inside and outside. Everyone was amazed at the beautiful views. We hosted a group of 15 total for a dinner, and it was perfect. The kitchen has more than enough to cook and bake. All of the rooms were as shown, and everyone slept wonderfully. We will definitely be looking to stay here again!
