About this house rental
This 7,200-square-foot historic mansion available for 30 guests was built by George Braun of Anheuser-Busch in 1882, is perfect for your next large gathering or celebration. Enjoy the open, luxurious living space with eight bedrooms, four baths, and unique features like a Great Hall, a large wrap-around porch, waterfalls, and a private pond. Enjoy our outdoor yard games, a swimming pool, an extensive library, and beautiful gardens.
The property has a fascinating history. The home belonged to the George Braun family until 1919 and was then used as a boarding home for several Denison families. As nearly every old house has a ghost story, the Braun Manor is said to have a few spirits that still linger in the home. While we can’t confirm or deny their presence... we believe most of the sounds guests hear are just sounds of an old creaking house.
Plus, enjoy Munson Park, a stunning park that sits outside the gates of The Braun Manor. With a 174-acre disc golf course, basketball court, a hiking trail, and baseball and soccer fields, guests of all ages will have a ton to explore at the park, then return home to relax on your covered patio or by the fire pit!

We held a weekend retreat at this beautiful home for a nonprofit support organization. The house is incredible and as described in photos. The hosts were always available and accommodating. The home was welcoming with all the amenities we could need. And the coffee bar! The pics are accurate of the fully stocked coffee and tea bar, and we took full advantage! Thank you for a wonderful stay in a beautiful, historic space. Stunning!

The Braun Manor is a Beautiful location and an amazing place to book. The property and the building transport you to another time. The inside is very big. Some hallways just kept going and going. It was easy to get lost in the building. We had a large group and it was penty of room throughout the day. There were a couple more beds and slepping spaces than advertised, which worked out nicely for us.
If you want to take showers, know there are only two of them, but there are also bathtubs you can use. The pool area is great, the only downsode is you cant use the hot tub. There were also some issues with the outdoor lighting around the pool because of a storm. Thats not the owner's fault, just know that may happen if theres a storm.
There is a park next door with a frisbee golf course that we enjoyed. The Manor does provide some equipment you can use, as well as for other sports too.
