Our family group (5 adults, 3 kids) stayed at the Maple Leaf Manor in June. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful, well-appointed property.
So many things to like about this property:
- Friendly, responsive host David
- Beautiful, very recently renovated old farmhouse with all the modern conveniences, including a lovely kitchen, modern/all new bathrooms, USB/charging stations in all rooms; everything done really thoughtfully
- Close to town, but the property is off a main road and really private
- Amazing screened porch for dinners & sitting out
- Huge, well-kept property to wander
- Fire pit - we had fun making s'mores
- Huge lawn/field - great for morning yoga and badminton (we brought a set)
- Bedrooms were wonderful: comfortable mattresses, sound machines, nice bedding, window fans
- Great amenities: Welcome basket of treats, nice toiletries, LOTs of towels (for bathrooms and separately for water activities); yoga mats; tons of books to choose from; games to play
- The coffee bar! So good! Brew a pot or make an individual Keurig, nice teas (and not just a few like you sometimes get at places - supplied for the whole week!
Some of the fun things we did nearby:
- Kids loved wading/swimming in nearby rivers (including Rainbow Rock)
- Strawberry picking
- Visiting Manchester & canoeing on the Batten Kill
- Visiting the Vermont Institute of Natural Science, great for kids
- The town's swimming pool and tennis courts 5 minutes away

This house is an absolute hidden gem in the countryside of Vermont. Very rustic with modern amenities. It had every single amenity you could imagine plus more! The coffe bar and country gift basket was something that will always be remembered. The house was fully stocked with soaps, hand lotion, shampoos, bath salts, laundry pods and sheets, etc which made us feel very welcomed and very much at home. The hot tub was terrific after a day of skiing. The video and air hockey games led to several competitive games amongst our adult kids. The house was very spacious, impeccably clean, and had everything you could ever wish for plus more. There were many added personal touches that made it even more special. The place was big enough for our family of 8 adults and two grandchildren. The house was even equipt with a high chair and pack and play for toddlers. We would highly recommend this beautiful house.
David, the owner, was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very responsive, checked in with us to be sure everything was okay and was very detailed with instructions and directions to the house. He was very attentive to us and wanted to make sure our visit was going well. I can assure you that anyone who stays here will be very satisfied. In fact, our entire family commented saying “we absolutely need to come back again.” We have rented several places, but none come close to this stay. Thank you for the privilege of letting us enjoy your beautiful home!!!!

We had a wonderful long ski weekend stay with friends and kids at Maple Manor! The house is beautiful and has every amenity that a family could dream of, including games, hot tub and a coffee bar. The host David was very proactive in communication and checked in before and throughout the trip to make sure we had everything we needed. If I could leave 10 stars I would. We’ll definitely be back next year, this house is a gem! 💎 Thank you David!
