Central to everything you need and close enough to hear the seagulls on the beach! Enjoy a variety of restaurants serving locally sourced food and have pre-dinner drinks in the micro pub.
The town has a museum, plenty of art galleries, tennis courts, cafes, shops, Castle and a Harbour. The regular buses are easy to travel around, so you don't even need a car, plus there's also a train station within a 20 minute stroll.
You have access to all areas in the property apart from the wall cupboard in the attic bedroom.
On the first floor is the bunkbed room, bathroom with bath (shower head over), wash basin & WC. Further along the large hallway, you will come to the spacious open plan kitchen, lounge & diner with seating for 4. The living room has views out to the high street to watch the hustle and bustle or you can cosy down with a good film on the smart TV. The kitchen, although small, is well equipped with an oven, hob, fridge with mini freezer microwave, kettle toaster & a cafetiere. There is also a washing machine for convenience with a clothes horse.
Upstairs on the 2nd floor is the large master kingsize bedroom, with the original beams and sloping ceilings.
There is a travel cot, and a stairgate at the top of the 1st floor stairs in front of the bunk bedroom.
There is free street parking on the roads to the rear of the High Street but directly outside the property there are double yellow lines. The nearest paid parking is Gladstone Road or Middle Wall car park. You can view the charges on the Canterbury City Council website. Parking can be limited in the high season but once you have parked up, you are close enough to walk into town, beach, shops etc.
