Property was beautiful, nice balcony, great size rooms. Very friendly staff.

Staff friendly and helpful. The air conditioner was broken, and they could not fix it. When I Took the time to write the hotel owner to make some price accommodation, he did not respond to my email.

Great location across from ferry dock and short walk to cruise ship dock. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. Rooftop bar was nice. Great salad in their cafe for lunch. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning in room worked great. But there didn’t seem to be any A/C in the lobby. Would stay there again.

The breakfast was way overpriced and inadequate in selection.

Friendly staff and clean room. The only negative thing is dinner. We planned to get food from the city center, but no umbrella was available for a rainy evening. We were close to getting a taxi and we didn't want to get soaking wet from the rain😓

We liked the view directly on the beach and as every thursday, we enjoyed a wonderful show of dancers!

This hotel was probably quite fancy once but has seen better days. The room was huge but reasonably basic, and the pool was out of order — I got the impression it had been that way for a while. This was really disappointing as we had chosen a hotel with a pool specifically for our last day so our kids could enjoy a last swim before flying home. We ordered a taxi for 6am but it wasn’t ordered and we had a reasonably stressful dash to the airport to make our flight. It also wasn’t a cheap option: there are better hotels in Papeete for the price — check them out first.

The property had been recently updated. The staff was extremely helpful with my wife and our situation. Super friendly, very polite and positive.

Arrived after dark, quick 4 miles from the International airport. Clean, modern, friendly staff. Good breakfast in the am. Our suite slept 6, was safe, great location near water, parks, local shops and boat docks. Great place.

Nice room but there are no outlets in the bathroom to use your curling iron, shaver, etc…
Lighting is minimal in bathroom as well.

We were staying just one night and really didn't have much expectations.
The location was good for us, close to the center and walking distance from the ferry terminal.
The check-in went well, the staff was courteous and we got our keys quickly.
The room was large and at a higher floor (5th).
The hotel is not new, and it shows in the bedrooms, some water damage on the ceiling but nothing bad.
The real problem came when we tried to sleep at night. We only had a few hours between our arrival and our plan departure. Unfortunately we could barely sleep due to the street noise. The room was facing one of the major avenue, and even at the 5th floor, we felt like we were in the sidewalk with motorcycle and cars racing all night long.
We unfortunately can't recommend staying at this place as it failed at its primary missing, get us some sleep.

The hotel location is amazing! Walking distance to Ferry, Market, downtown! Hotel is a little old. We only stayed one night for transit.

We were seeking a short term stay less than 12 hours as we had a layover and early AM. We had a street facing room on Floor 2 that had a lot of street car noise. On the other hand, restaurant on Lobby floor was nice and easy for a meal late evening!

Friendly staff. Clean though darkly lighted rooms. Breakfast was convenient, but extraordinarily overpriced.

This was a one night stay at the end of our trip in the French Polynesia. The hotel itself is very modern, great building, the elevator is a little loud (in a I'm-brand-new-and-being-used-for-the-first-time kind of way). They have smoking and non-smoking rooms available (HOT TIP: the smoking rooms basically just include a balcony, so if you want a balcony choose a smoking room). They have a restaurant in the hotel, but when we asked the concierge about food options she recommended that we still go out to nearby options (I like honesty). We had an issue with our first room, and they initially gave us a room with 2 double beds and we had requested a queen bed. Front desk sorted everything out for us and was very nice and friendly about it. Hotel has a free parking garage and free wifi in the lobby. Now I will move to the "negatives" which I stress are most likely due to our previous luxury stay. When we pulled up to the hotel in the car, there was no one to greet us or direct us to the garage. No one to offer to take bags or help unload the car. It was raining, but no umbrellas were offered. I believe this is a hotel that sees more business travelers. If you are coming for a romantic holiday and are ending your stay in Papeete, I don't recommend. If you are starting your vacation here then I highly recommend, it's a great hotel in a great location. Your expectations will still not be too high and I think this where we got a little disappointed with our stay.

This was our stopover hotel. We stayed going and returning and our room on the return was like an apartment. Very nice and we enjoyed it. The area is not so great but for one night it is fine. Le Velvet is the house restaurant and it is excellent. We ate there three times!
10.0 / 10.0
The Le Velvet restaurant in this hotel serves delicious French cuisine, open for lunch and dinner.

The hotel was continently located but is way too expensive for what they offer. The breakfast is 40 usd per person. They also take advantage of the exchange rate.
The pool was empty. This was not expressed anywhere.
The AC in the room couldn't keep up during the day.
The shower didn't have a curtain and water would end up going everywhere.

We stayed there as a rest stop for our cruise. We only stayed about 4 hours and had to pay the full night's rate because they don't offer a day rate. In fact none of the other hotels would do a day rate only. It was quiet and we got the rest we needed coming off an overnight flight

Sordid hotel. No wifi in the rooms, only in lobby

So dark that is is impossible to even use the bathroom mirror. Even the hallways are dangerous with such low lighting
The floors are super slippery shiny tile - not good for the bathroom. The kitchen looks good but two forks, two spoons and that is about it! The staff is indifferent and not helpful. I would say the owners have never stepped into the hotel!
The location is good but they really need to learn customer service. I recommend finding a hotel a little out of town and take a taxi.

Hotel is run down and in need of upgrading. Rooms were ok but facilities poor. The swimming pool had tiles peeling off and the water was murky with things floating in it. The breakfast is vastly overpriced - US$42 for an "American breakfast"!!!!
On the positive side - easy walking distance to the marina and food trucks, staff friendly and helpful.

This hotel disappoints. No WiFi in room. One of the two elevators broken. Very low light in corridor.

We arrived very late at night and were very cordially greeted by the receptionist. Room was clean and spacious. Free wifi, but only in the lobby area.No problems arranging transportation and tour packages. Hotel is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the ferry. Would stay there again. Also has excellent restaurant in hotel with service 7 days serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Was disappointed in the communication between hotel and hotel.com. We upgraded to two bedroom suite so parents could stay with us however upon arrival they were going to be extra for two people a lot extra. When I did book upgrade it only had two people listed and I did ask hotel.com to if needed to be changed to Four people they said no it's a two bedroom suite for four people.. I took their word for it and should have made sure number of people were changed.
So we ended up paying for a two bedroom suite and they stayed somewhere else. NOT HAPPY

It was a good hotel for Papeete but as there is not much to do in Papeete it is not worth of spending almost 200USD per night for staying there
5.0 / 10.0
Clean rooms, friendly service, and close to everything. Only stayed 1 night before our stay in Moorea, wished we stayed another night.
