Overall we did enjoy our stay. House was exactly like photos on the listing. It is a great size house. Communication was good with owners. They were very kind & even left a box of cookies. However, the house smelled musty, most likely due to the thermostat is set on 80 when no one is there. The house wasn’t real clean. It was picked up, but, dirty under coffee table, dirt in corners of the bathroom, by tables in bedroom, no hand soap in bathroom. All the fuzzy blankets and throws, even the ones on the couch and lying around smelled dirty, like they hadn’t been washed in awhile. In the kitchen there were packages of crackers open and spilled in the drawers that were old. If the house was cleaner, it is a great place to stay for a family or several families with kids.

We would stay here again. Clean accommodations. Everything worked well, even the hot tub. Could walk to town for restaurants and wine tastings. Short drive for vineyards and orchards. Great time. Great town. RR

We had a wonderful stay at this property for a girls weekend for wine tasting & spending time together! Location & neighborhood was perfect. Check-in process super easy, and pics were accurate. Would recommend this property!

We were Winter Texans this year and the Fritz Ritz was our home away from home. It was close to downtown and all the activities there. The hot tub was nice to soak in, neighborhood quiet, and Russell the property manager very accommodating. Everything was clean and comfortable, with a good supply of linens and blankets. One of the drawbacks was that the exterior walls were a little thin. So, we could hear people in the street talking as if in the other room. The refrigerator fan went out too, but Russell and the landlord had a new refrigerator installed within 48 hours. All in all, we enjoyed Fredericksburg and the Fritz Ritz.

We enjoyed the home. Very nice! The coffee pot desperately needs replacing? 45 min to brew a pot. Even after we descaled it. Also it appears some got welcoming packages of fruits, cookies or cakes, and snacks ~ but we had nothing? Would rent this place again in a heartbeat!❤️

When you work construction out of town away from your family it is nice to be able to stay somewhere that feels like home. This home is well taken care of and would definitely stay here again.

The Fritz House is a beautiful home. We enjoyed our stay however; there are a few things as management/owner you might not be aware of. When we arrived we read the house rules and followed the rules of the house. The cookies, fruit & flowers were welcoming and nice touch to make us feel at home. The key to the outdoor patio was missing & the outdoor patio room was unlocked. The wine refrigerator doesn't work. The master shower door is coming off & there is black mold in the shower. The ice maker dispenser is not working & we had to empty the the ice maker several times during our time there so it would not jam up. The door on the dryer is broken. The air conditioner, the first day we were there stayed at 79. We called management & they called out a repairman. We appreciated having an A.C. He put Freon into the air conditioning system quite a bit it seems though it still has a leak or something is wrong, because it does not hold the temperature. One of the dining room chairs needs glued. The chest bed in the game room was a great idea, except the mattress is quite dirty. The hot tub does not regulate temperature and the lights in the game room, Master room, & second bedroom flicker off and on. We really enjoyed ourselves, the home is beautiful and we just want to to be sure that you as management/owner are aware of these things. We will be back in Fredericksburg sometime next year. We feel it's just too beautiful of a home to let go. We did not feel it was worth the amount of money that we paid but someday we will be back. We hope that the suggestions to repair the home will be taken seriously. Also the outdoor gate needs some work. Thank you for allowing us to give input.

The house was beautiful and our Party of 6 adults had lots of room to spread out. It was very clean and in a very nice neighborhood. The lemon pound cake and fruit that was provided was delicious and a very nice surprise. The beds were so comfortable and we had no complaints about anything in this house. Our reunion with four college girlfriends (40 years later!) was fabulous. This house is warm, comfortable and just right for what we needed. Three bedrooms with comfy beds (2 kings, 1 queen) and a pull-out sofa plus two full baths. The kitchen was big and well-stocked for what we needed. The back yard was cute and fenced and even had a hot tub. We loved sharing a glass of wine on the deck and reminiscing. We had an issue with the ice maker and Russell came by and offered a solution that was perfect for us (turns out it wasn't working but he bought us a bag of ice - so thoughtful!). The house itself is a 10 to 15-minute walk from restaurants and shops on Main Street (Hwy 290), and a short drive from all the wineries, Luckenbach, Enchanted Rock and more. There's an HEB not far away that has everything you need for a nice stay. Thanks to the Fritz Ritz for an awesome girlfriend getaway!

Property was in great condition. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The back deck and hot tub were a great place to hang out and bbq on the gas grill. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend the home to any of my friends with one exception. Had the police called on us twice. Both officers were very nice and understood the situation. Homes are close together and a neighbor was having a bad night. No loud partying by my group but we were laughing and it was only 9pm on Saturday with the first call. Would still recommend but with an understanding that the noise has to be low or to stay inside which is what we did after the second call. Owner was great to deal with and I would rent again!

The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had fresh fruit and a delicious lemon cake for breakfasts. Walking and shopping in old Fredericksburg is always a blast in any weather. We even enjoyed the hot tub one evening.
