The garden is divided into two areas, connected by a gate, both with barbecue grills. One of the gardens is private for guests; So, if you have a well-behaved pet, you can bring it with your family. The second garden is shared with the owners, it includes a swimming pool overlooking the coast (from Praia das Maçãs to Ericeira), the Serra de Sintra (Pena Palace and Castelo dos Mouros) and some typical villages.

The home and property are first rate. Clean, Comfortable, Quiet, in a Beautifully Landscaped Setting High on a Hill Overlooking the Ocean. The physical attributes of this property far exceed the typical VRBO properties one finds while traveling.
While the property is outstanding, the host, Daniel is equally impressive. He is friendly, very helpful, and if you have a question he is quick to respond.
My wife and were very pleased with our stay.

We spent 5 amazing days on this beautifully kept property and enjoyed the clean apartment, roof terrace and stunning gardens. The stunning nature park out the back door was an extra plus, beautiful beaches are a short driving distance away. Would return any time.

Daniel and his home are incredible. He is a wonderful host and such a kind and wonderful person. His home is absolutely amazing. The property and views were the best we saw in the entire country and right from our porch! His landscaping is right out of a magazine. Just beautiful and incredible. At home we would be charged admission to such wonderful gardens that this home has! The house is in a great spot central to lots of beautiful places to visit just a short short drive away. We had such an amazing stay at Daniel’s paradise home! I would 100% recommend staying here any time of year!

Tolle ruhige Lage mit phänomenalen Blick
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und der Ausblick ist phänomenal. Die Kommunikation mit Daniel verlief sehr gut. Zum Strand sind es nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Zu Fuß kann man viele tolle Wanderungen in den Wäldern Sintras machen.
Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft weiter.

Appartement situé dans une très belle propriété verdoyante, très bien situé pour visiter les palais alentours. A disposition, la piscine, barbecue, grande terrasse et jardin fleuri et arboré.
Daniel est charmant et a su répondre à nos attentes.

Phänomenal schön!
Über den Dächern von Colares. Zauberhafter Blick auf das Tal und das Meer. Absolut ruhig gelegen. Für uns als Paar ideal.
Schönes kleines Haus mit Kamin, Elektroheizung und Luftentfeuchter. Es fehlte nichts.
Wir kamen abends an und Daniel erwartete uns am Meeting Point. Die Einfahrt zum Haus ist schon etwas versteckt.
Er brachte uns Wein, Obst und etwas zum Abendessen. Daniel ist ein sehr freundlicher und bemühter Gastgeber.
Da die andere Haushälfte nicht vermietet war, konnten wir uns ein Haus aussuchen. Meer, Sintra, Golfplätze und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut erreichbar. Der kleine Supermarkt in Colares hat alles was man braucht und einen genialen Metzger.
Am Wochenende ist im Nachbardorf Markt und am nächsten Strand gibt es eine Markthalle mit frischem Fisch.
Wir hatten eine ganz wunderbare Woche und bedanken uns herzlich bei Daniel.

Superbe !!!!
Séjour du 24/07 au 5/08 en couple. Très belle region proche de Lisbonne, Sintra et Cascais. Beaucoup de balades en forêts sympas, la region regorge de trésors a visiter, de bons petits restaurants et de bons vins. Les plages sont belles (mais l'eau glacée ...). Nos hôtes sont d'une gentillesse exceptionnelle ... Merci à Daniel et José ... Et ne ratez pas l'auberge des cyclistes en contre-bas, on peut manger au restau le midi à l'arrière (extra pour 8€ !) ... La location est confortable, la vue magnifique, belles prestations. Nous y reviendrons volontiers hors saison de préférence, avec des amis pour occuper les 2 logements mitoyens (manque juste une petite séparation sur la terrasse entre les 2 logements) ... Nous recommandons vivement !

Ein Urlaub, der keine Wünsche offen lässt
Diese Ferienanlage besteht aus einem Doppelhaus, in dem nebeneinander zwei Appartements untergebracht sind, so dass jeder Mieter eine Haushälfte zur Verfügung hat. Die Ausgänge führen zu einer gemeinsamen schmalen Terrasse, auf der jeweils ein Tisch und Stühle stehen. Das Appartement ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es ist einfach alles da, von der Waschmaschine mit integriertem Trockner bis hin zu allen erdenklichen Küchengeräten, Grill, Mikrowelle usw. Es ist alles sehr sauber und gepflegt und sehr gut erhalten. Zu unserer großen Überraschung wurden wir mit Blumen, Portwein und Käse empfangen. Das Grundstück bietet noch andere nette Überraschungen. Man kann sich z. B. einem großen Pavillon zurück ziehen, in dem eine Musikanlage steht und ein gemütliches Sofa. Von dort hat man einen wunderschönen Blick ins Tal hinab. Von der Terrasse und der Dachterrasse aus hat man einen formidablen Blick auf das Meer. Es gibt einen gepflasterten Grillplatz mit Grill und Backofen, der in einem extra Hof untergebracht ist und der sehr gemütlich ist, sowie einen gemütlichen Liegebereich am Pool. Von unserem Vermieter Daniel wurden wir mit ausgesuchtert Herzlichkeit und Zuvorkommenheit begrüßt und betreut. Nach unserer Ankunft wurden wir zu einer kurzen Sightseeing- Tour eingeladen, auf der Strände, Restaurants, Supermärkte usw. erklärt wurden und man bereits einen Überblick über die näheren Angebote erhalten konnte. Die Anlage selbst liegt etwas höher, daher hat man diesen traumhaften Ausblick. Die Zugangswege sind etwas abschüssig und steil, mit unseren Wagen - Kia Rio oder Punto gut zu meistern. Der Wagen sollte jedoch nicht tiefer gelegt sein, damit man nicht aufsetzt. Man muss die Zufahrtswege jedoch nicht hoch fahren, sondern durch eine besondere Wegeanordnung fährt man von einer höher gelegenen Straße zur Anlage hinunter und von dort auf die niedriger gelegene Straße hinunter. Alles in allem ein wunderbare Anlage, in der man gut entspannen kann und die genügend Raum bietet. Dear Daniel and family, we will thank you very very much for your very kind hospitality. Très bon séjour dans ce havre de paix
Belle prestation dans un cadre entièrement clos très reposant et très bien entretenu avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et le palais de Peña. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par les propriétaires et ils nous ont donnés de très conseils touristiques, et avons beaucoup apprécié leur gentillesse et leur discrétion. Nous avons bien profité et de la terrasse surplombant la maison.ainsi que de la piscine Cette maison convient parfaitement à un couple avec un enfant.

un grand merci à Daniel pour son accueil et sa gentillesse ; il nous a emmené faire un grand tour en voiture pour nous montrer les plages, bons restaurants , magasins..il y a tout ce qu'il faut dans la maison, la vue est magnifique , beau jardin ! bien agréable d'y revenir au calme après la foule de Sintra et de ses beaux monuments ; la région est magnifique , on peut alterner plage, visite, marche, vélo, ..et piscine au retour .nous reviendrons avec plaisir !!

Ein rundum wundervoller Urlaub
Wir haben sehr kurzfristig einen kleinen Urlaub in Lissabon geplant, wollten aber nicht direkt in der Stadt wohnen und ausserdem unseren kleinen Hund mitnehmen.Der erste Kontakt mit dem Besitzer Daniel war schon sehr erfreulich, er hatte nichts gegen unseren kleinen Atze und wir fühlten uns sofort willkommen.Der etwas schwierige Anfahrtwegs wurde uns durch Daniel und José sehr erleichtert, denn sie erwarteten uns an einer verabredeten Stelle und geleiteten uns dann zur Wohnung. Wir waren sehr überrascht: die kleine Wohnung war auf Anhieb sehr ansprechend. Sie war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und es fehlte an nichts. Die Küche ist besonders hervorzuheben. Sie war sehr zweckmäßig eingerichtet, alles was man zum Kochen benötigte war vorhanden, sogar eine Spül- und Waschmaschine waren da. Die Besitzer schenkten uns als Willkommensgeschenk eine schöne Flasche Wein und verwöhnten uns mit einem Käse aus der Region. Im Kühlschrank war bei unserer Ankunft Butter, Milch und sogar Eier, wir waren sehr gerührt. Das Wohnzimmer war ausgesprochen gemütlich eingerichtet, sogar ein Kamin war vorhanden, von dem wir wegen des teilweise sehr unfreundlichen Wetters, auch Gebrauch gemacht haben. Holz zum Beheizen war vorhanden und wurde durch Daniel sogar zwischendurch wieder aufgefüllt. Die Matratzen - die halten wir immer für sehr wichtig - waren ausgesprochen gut, sie waren schön hart und man konnte wunderbar darauf schlafen - ohne lästige Rückenschmerzen am anderen Morgen!!!! Die Zimmer waren nett und mit Liebe eingerichtet! Und dann der Garten!!!!!! Ein wunderschöner , äußerst gepflegter Garten erwartete uns, er war terrassenförmig angelegt und mit eindruckvollen Bäumen und Pflanzen bestückt. Nicht nur wir, sondern auch unser kleiner Atze haben uns sofort wohl darin gefühlt. Auf dem Haus selber war ein Dachgarten, von dem aus man einen herrlichen Blick über die ganze Region hatte sogar bis zum Strand. Das Anwesen verfügt auch über einen swimming pool, den wir aufgrund des Wetters allerdings nicht benutzt haben, aber auch hier war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt, sogar ein Grillplatz war vorhanden. Die beiden Besitzer waren äußerst freundlich und sehr um unser und Atzes Wohlbefinden besorgt, ohne jemals aufdringlich zu sein. Gleich am ersten Tag fuhren sie uns durch die Gegend um uns eine Orientierung zu geben und uns ein bisschen einzunorden. Wir werden Daniel und José auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!!
